Located in Walla Walla’s favorite neighborhood, the Juniper Guest House is like no other vacation rental. The house is just blocks from the downtown area, the beautiful Whitman College campus, and the famous John Olmsted designed, Pioneer Park. Step inside and take a look, you will not be disappointed.

The Juniper Guest House was built in 1909, the same year that Pioneer Park was opened to the public. This beautiful mission-style, arts and crafts home is the perfect place to stay, while you explore Walla Walla and the lush valley that surrounds it.

The house features four bedrooms, each showcasing queen sized beds with exquisite bedding, a dining room accommodating six, parlor including game table and desk, living room, full kitchen sporting island seating for four, and finally, three well appointed bathrooms (one with jetted tub), and large finished basement with wet-bar for entertaining and room for banquets.

Outside, you will find a gorgeous and beautifully outfitted front porch, a back deck for entertaining, and fully fenced yard.

About The Owner

My name is John Sterlin. I was born and raised in Walla Walla Washington!

Why The Owner chose Walla Walla Valley

My partner and I chose to turn our future retirement home in to a vacation rental to help defer the costs of maintaining two residences. We opened a business on Main Street in Walla Walla so purchasing a house to stay in while we worked at our business seemed the right thing to do. We love Walla Walla and most of all, we love the house! The moment we walked in the front door we fell in love with the house just as we know you will!

What makes this house unique

We absolutely LOVE the front porch of this house. Every morning we have coffee while enjoying the beautiful street and every evening we sit and enjoy a glass or two of wonderful Walla Walla wine! The living room, parlor, and dinning rooms are all just beautiful with their un-touched arts and crafts style wood trim built-in seating. This house is our zen and it will be yours as well.

We stayed here for a family Easter get together - what a lovely house!! We had a great time. The house itself is beautifully maintaned and furnished, there are plenty of kitchen cooking tools, etc., and there is a nice area to sit outside. On a cute, quiet street in Walla Walla. We'd pick this place again!!

Wonderful place to stay in Walla Walla

6 of us stayed here for 4 days to celebrate a couple of milestone birthdays. The house is beautiful and wonderfully decorated. It is located near the downtown area in a neighborhood of lovely old homes. The front porch was our hangout of choice. We would highly recommend the Juniper Guest House if you are visiting Walla Walla!
