This newly constructed Cape Cod style home is located in South Chatham on Nantucket Sound. It's only 3/10th of a mile to Pleasant Street Beach. Located on a small, quiet, private way at the top of the Fairview Heights community, this spot has spectacular views of the Red River Marsh and Wetlands. It is perfectly situated between the shopping areas of Chatham Center and Harwichport Village. The home itself is beautifully decorated with loving cottage charm. It sleeps 8 adults with two private bedrooms and a third bedroom open loft, which can serve as a second living room during the day.

About the Property: This newly constructed Cape Cod style home is located in South Chatham on Nantucket Sound. It's only 3/10th of a mile to Pleasant Street Beach. Located on a small, quiet, private way at the top of the Fairview Heights community, this spot has spectacular views of the Red River marsh and wetlands. It is perfectly situated between the shopping areas of Chatham Center and Harwichport Village. The home was built in 2000. It was designed by the Fahey family and constructed by Patriot Builders of Harwich. The design was based on traditional Cape Cod styling and fits well into architectural context of the Fairview Heights Community.

The house is a three bedroom Cape with two full baths, and an enclosed outdoor shower. The interior is open with a large kitchen, dining and living area on the first floor. The first floor also consists of a quaint bedroom located in the northwest corner of the house with one queen sized bed and a full bath opposite this first floor bedroom. The second level consists of one very large private bedroom, which contains two twin beds and a large and extremely comfortable king size bed. Also on the second level is an open style bedroom loft, which overlooks the living area. This loft has three twin-sized beds arranged as day beds allowing this space to be utilized as a second living room during the day. The second level also contains the second full sized bathroom.

The entire house is beautifully decorated with adoring cottage charm. The back yard is large and has an oversized ground level deck. The yard is well maintained with green glass and lots of colorful flowers and blooming shrubs. For more details visit http://www.ourcapecodhouse.com

The many beaches and protected wetland are some of the most beautiful in the world. Hiking, biking, and touring are popular means of experiencing the Cape. Canoeing and kayaking are also popular methods of visiting less accessible areas. The Town of Chatham also offers many interesting and entertaining activities. It small village style atmosphere is underlain in its many restaurants and shops. Its artist studios, antique galleries and craft shops are numerous. Other activities include: amusement parks and playgrounds, summer band concerts, summer baseball, fishing, bird watching seal watching, etc.

We enjoyed one week vacation in this house
It is close to water
Well equipped house
Enjoyed the deck w/ BBQ grill for fresh Fish dinners
Chatham Fish Pier has great selection including Lobster
A/C in Bed Rooms were very useful
Our twin Grandbabies enjoyed the home as well
Mark is wonderful in communications & very helpful
