Delightful guest cottage with working fireplace on 18 acres of private, wooded shorefront. Beautiful waterfront views. There are two bedrooms, one with queen bed and the other with 2 twin beds. Kitchen has microwave, refrigerator, electric stove/oven, coffeemaker, and toaster. Cooking and dining utensils, TV/VCR, telephone, picnic table with benches and lobster pot included.

Location: Portland and Casco Bay Area < Maine < USA

Marina and kayak rentals nearby. Swimming off old stone pier with large sandy top or from a safe weathered rocky point on a cove accessed by stairs. A unique and peaceful location. Excellent area for walking, jogging, bird watching, fishing, boating, or just enjoying a natural environment. There are music and theater productions, cinemas, farmers' markets, museums, art galleries, an antique shops at nearby Cook's Corner, Bath or Brunswick. Portland is a 45-minute drive, and Freeport with its many outlet stores is even closer. Beautiful Popham and Reid State Park beaches are in this area which is ideally situated for day trips up the coast or inland.
