We love this location - both winter and summer, it makes a perfect get-away!!! We live in Texas, so the summers are pretty hot. Going to Beaver Creek in the summer is like a dream come true! It's perfect - pretty warm during the day, but cool in the mornings and evenings. Obviously, in the winter, it's the perfect location, since you are so close to the lifts. However, you are also soooo close to everything else. Edwards is 6 minutes away, Avon - only 4 minutes away and Vail is only about 14 minutes away. Amazing restaurants, cute little shops, and there are so many activies to take part in all year round! I hope you enjoy our oasis as much as we do!
Some of the events that take place in the area are as follows: January typically brings the Tallons Challenge, and the Master Chef Challenge sponsored by Bon Appetit. April offers the Vail Film Festival, events have spread throughout the Beaver Creek area. In the month of May, is the Blues, Brews & BBQ festival. June brings the Suzuki Institute for 2 weeks. July 4th offers a celebration with lots of activies. The Rocky Mountain Antique Festival and the Annual Beaver Creek Arts Festival are both in July. August offers the Wine & Spirits Festival, the Vertical Ascent Race and the Trans Rockies Run. September brings Oktoberfest and the Oktoberfest Shuffle. Throughout the winter months, you'll find the Beaver Creek Race Series and the Crystal Gtotto. Beaver Creek Rodeo takes place weekly every Thursday during the summer. You'll also find various culinary demonstrations, concerts, symphony performances, opera and theater throughout the year.
We spent Christmas week 2009 at this amazing condo. The owner, Linda from Texas, was extremely receptive to all of our calls and questions beforehand. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The condo is immaculate, new in perfect condition and very high end. My teen and preteen loved the second bedroom. The location can't be beat if you're skiing.
We love this place! It feel like we're staying at a friend's summer cottage. It is new, clean, bright, beautifully decorated/furnished, and user friendly. All new sheets and plush brown towels. We walk out the back door to the hiking trail or catch the Ride to the village. We've spent many hours at the bistro table on the deck having morning coffee, playing rummikub and dining alfresco. At night we wrap ourselves up in the cozy blankets and have a glass of wine with neighbors at the fire pit. Most days my husband uses the fitness room which is 3 steps from the front door and the hot tub by the pool. It is an amazing summer place and I can't imagine how nice it is in the winter with the lift RIGHT OUT the BACK DOOR! The owners do a marvelous job anticipating their guests wants and needs.
A sign above the door says: "May all who enter as GUESTS, leave as FRIENDS".
We are friends who don't want to leave!
Everything was wonderful. The owners were so attentive! The place was just as expected and represented. What more could you ask for? We enjoyed a wonderful, stress-free time skiing in paradise.
We had a great time and the condo was outstanding. It is organized, clean, and has all of the amenities. I would recommend this place to anyone!!
First time we used VRBO and we were pleasantly surprised. Can't say enough about the unit, perfect location and they described it exacly how it is. Even the little things were great, movies, utensils, extra bedding etc etc. were very helpful. I would totally recommend it.
I was planning super last minute and I came across this gem. I kept finding places that were well out of the budget because it was so last minute. I am so glad I found this place and it was at such a great price! My husband and our friends were pleasantly surprised as to how well stocked the kitchen was with appliances, utensils, knives and such (even a microplane!!). It was also PERFECT in terms of getting to the ski runs. It was nice that it was not in the Village because it was not nearly as crowded. We loved the dial a ride shuttle and how we had enough parking. We had two spots so one was in the garage and the other was right out front.
This has been our favorite ski condo! It is clean and close to the lifts and hot tub! I love the well stocked kitchen. There is plenty of room for everyone to hang-out comfortably. Having a full sized washer and dryer is a huge plus. This was our second stay here and plan on many more! It is the perfect mix of comfort and elegance. The convenience to the slopes is unbeatable!
