Cooking and entertaining for pleasure

I was able to enjoy these wonderful accommodations in Truro as a part of a reunion/birthday get-together. We all had our private room areas but were able to truly socialize in the expansive kitchen, dining and patio areas. As a professional chef who works in client's homes and event venues, I appreciated the generous space allowed in the kitchen work area and the thoughtful kitchen items provided for rental use. We all were able to pull off some remarkable meals while vacationing here that rivaled any catered event I've done. It was so nice that even while away from my personally equipped kitchen I was able to entertain to such an extent and enjoy the experience as much. I know that everyone of us enjoyed the dining-in experience so much that we never ate a dinner out! I look forward to my next stay at this lovely rental on the Cape and I'm sure you'll enjoy it too.

Fabulous Reunion House!

We were 4 families with children up to age 5 and found this house a great place. It has a really unique layout that offers privacy for each family, but has great open common/living spaces. It was easy to keep our eyes on the kids and still have adult conversations. The house is in a beautiful wooded area with walking trails attached to the back. It is very close to both quiet bayside and oceanside beaches. We were all equally happy to stay in and grill or use the house for a launching pad to explore nearby cape cod towns and beaches. After months of planning to get 4 families from different parts of both coasts together, I can honestly say, this house completed the efforts and created a great vacation atmosphere for all of us!

Nice house - no amenities

This house is spacious and modern, private location. The problem with this house is the owner. They provide the absolute minimum to get by while charging top dollar. There is not a single dresser or cabinet in any of the 6 bedrooms to put your clothes away. We had to put our stuff in the spare child's crib.

There is not a single picture on any of the walls in the 6 bedrooms. The kitchen is nice but again provides the absolute minimum. We were hosting a large party and therefore rented three large houses. This house provided no amenities - no sheets, no towels, nothing to add to your comfort - the other two houses provided everything. If you rent this property bring everything with you because the owner is interested in cashing your check, not making you comfortable.

Extremely well appointed for vacation

This house had all the amenities we wanted in a vacation home for our family consisting me, my wife our three children and their families. The access to children beach areas was particularly helpful even though it was a short drive.

The facility made it easy for us to eat together and that made for very nice family time. In the below I check it is suitable for people with disabilities but one should call the owner and be very specific about that.

Forget EVERYTHING!

If you are looking for an amazing getaway--this is truly one of the finer Truro rentals. This house has been meticulously maintained by the owners and was very clean. The pictures on the website do it no justice.This house is an architects/builders masterpiece. You have to see it to believe it. The house has an interesting interior layout. It has two wings--one wing is much larger than the other. It easily accomodated three families. All the families had their own bathrooms with showers! The bathrooms had a spa feel to them--very open and airy.

If you want to relax in comfort and know you are staying in a clean property--this is the rental. There were no carpets--all concrete and tile. We prefer these type of rentals because they tend not to have any odors from carpeting.

I'm posting this review months after we have stayed at the property--that is how memorable of a house it was. I visit this site to get my vacation memory back :)

The other trait about this property that makes it wonderful is the outside space--there is a great slate patio with ambiance lighting for the evening. We spent every single night out on the patio for dinner and drinks.

The house is nicely located with the Truro beaches very close. The house is adjacent to conservation property too.

We look forward to our next stay!
