Brooklyn Apartment Rental Photos and Description
3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is airy and rainbow-bright
Brooklyn’s Prospect Heights is a creative ‘hood. And this attention to craft is prevalent in Carlton Loft, too. Across its three storeys you'll find a verdant living area, a secret study on the mezzanine level and balcony. Sky blue and magenta tones brighten light and airy rooms, where artfully mismatched furniture is cosied by faux-sheepskin throws and woven cushions. And the impressive views from both outdoor spaces are equally inspiring. Head down to ground level for hip restaurants and cafés, or venture a little further for the Brooklyn Museum and the Botanical Gardens.
Eye for colour
Your hosts have a bold style and have decorated their home accordingly – from the tumbling ivy to the living room’s retro furniture. And the study’s well-stocked bookshelves reveal a serious side, too.
Over the rainbow
Carlton Loft glows with sunny hues and contemporary artworks. You’ll find a kaleidoscope of textures in the living area, where there’s also a vintage rocking horse, miniature musical instruments and a marble-topped coffee table. The neat kitchen is tucked beneath the mezzanine level, behind the dining table for six. And on the same floor there’s a nursery with a dolls house and rainbow artwork. Head up the glass stairway to discover the study area, complete with locker-style storage and low-slung shelving. Or ascend even higher to the master suite where the colours fade to soothing neutrals. You can step onto the roof deck from here, which overlooks the shimmering lights of downtown Brooklyn.

About Owner / Property Manager
onefinestay gives you the chance to stay in someone's place while they're out of town. You get to live their life for a few days and nights.
Booking a stay is as easy as booking a hotel room. And there's service to match.
Nobody wants to be a tourist, so our homes come with recommendations from the people who live in them. For everything else, we're here 24/7.
Why Owner / Property Manager chose Brooklyn
Combining the easy living of Park Slope with the vibrant, multi-faceted culture of Crown Heights, Prospect Heights is giving Brooklyn’s brethren of cool 'hoods a run for its money.
Perfectly placed along the north side of Prospect Park, 585 acres of green park space designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux after they completed Manhattan’s Central Park, this leafy area is a seamless blend of old and new Brooklyn.
On one hand, 19th century brownstones line the tree-trimmed streets, home to families that have lived there for years. On the other, the area is flanked by new developments – the imposing Barclays Centre, home to the borough's (and Jay-Z's) basketball team, the Brooklyn Nets, looms on Atlantic Avenue with its silent promise of redevelopment and commerce, while on its southern park side border, a designer condo by Richard Meier and an organic farmer’s market every Saturday serve as constant reminders of the increasing affluence that is settling in the neighborhood.
Like most of Brooklyn, Prospect Heights is home to a multitude of restaurants and eateries that deliver quality grub and atmosphere, though here, there are neither the hoards of stroller-toting parents nor tattooed hipsters commonplace elsewhere.
What makes this apartment unique
