Brooklyn House Rental Photos and Description
3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is both dynamic and restful
From chevron-printed rugs and wide fireplaces to a sea-green colour palette, in Bond Street Townhouse all is well and good. The second floor flows from the stately living room to the dedicated yoga room – all pared-back furniture and earthy hues. Downstairs, the second living room is playful with red velvet armchairs and white shelves coloured with books. Step into the airy kitchen – beneath the beams there’s a dining table for four, framed by honeyed cabinets, and through the doors is the garden. Choose between dining al fresco under the canopy and hanging around in the woven hammock.
Your hosts were drawn to Boerum Hill's laid-back vibe – its balance of city life and green space. When they’re not perfecting their yoga poses, you’ll find them in the boutiques and restaurants along Atlantic Avenue.
On the ground floor, the colourful living room is welcoming with retro furniture and a grand marble fireplace. But the hues soften as you climb to this home’s higher levels. Head to the bedrooms – there’s a neat bunk bedroom, a sporty twin and an elegant master – from each one you’ll catch glimpses of the leafy garden below. And the bathrooms are just as soothing, both are painted in pale tones and one has a charming claw-foot bathtub. When you’re looking for pursuits more active, Boerum Hill is lined with independent shops, and the neighbourhood parks are just a stroll away.

Why Owner / Property Manager chose Brooklyn
If you didn’t happen to know better, you might miss sweet little Boerum Hill. Nestled along a bustling stretch of Atlantic Avenue on the borough’s west side, peruse an unexpectedly cosmopolitan trove of quaint homes, gardens, treasure-laden antiques emporia and small designer boutiques.
Here, trees rustle softly between historic brownstone row houses, while intimate and laid-back dining spots, including the arboreal Rucola on Dean Street and Jewish delicatessen Mile End on Hoyt Street, are tucked away and adored by this friendly and tightly knit community.
Further west, the promenade overlooking the East River waterfront is a perennial favorite for running and romantic strolls. It’s also the best spot around here to snap a picture-perfect panorama of the Statue of Liberty and beyond. And if sight of the Manhattan makes you crave her company, don’t fret: a couple of different lines can deliver you there in a matter of minutes.
