Overview

Brooklyn Apartment Rental Photos and Description

Home-grown

Leaf through

Boerum Hill's historic streets and villagey atmosphere belie its central location. Between the leafy parks and elegant rows of brownstones you’ll find Wyckoff Townhouse – a charming home set across three levels. An earthy palette of warm woods and natural colours complements a collection of grand antique furniture and paintings. The kitchen and dining room flow as one – here dainty china and earthenware bowls share the shelves with local history books. Upstairs on the parlour level, there are two living rooms to choose from, and there’s a stately office too, where your hosts’ book collection is displayed.

Verdant minds

Your hosts are history buffs with a fondness for New York's past – they’ve enjoyed watching Brooklyn evolve over their 40 years in residence. When they're not discovering new neighbourhood spots or tending their garden, you’ll find them playing music and reading.

Historic roots

Enter this home at garden level – you’ll find bouquets of dried flowers, sepia-toned family photos and an ivory sailing ship brighten the rooms. The kitchen is wholesome, with a beamed ceiling, cream tiles and cast-iron cookware. The dining room is just beyond and has a traditional wooden table for six, and the sun room is in the other direction – it opens into the decked garden. Head up to the third floor, where there are three beguiling bedrooms brushed with shades of cream, mint and sky-blue. And the bathrooms are equally inviting. One has a bold, monochrome-tiled floor and walk-in shower, and the other is brightly hued with a deep bathtub.

About Owner / Property Manager

onefinestay gives you the chance to stay in someone's place while they're out of town. You get to live their life for a few days and nights.

Booking a stay is as easy as booking a hotel room. And there's service to match.

Nobody wants to be a tourist, so our homes come with recommendations from the people who live in them. For everything else, we're here 24/7.

Why Owner / Property Manager chose Brooklyn

f you didn’t happen to know better, you might miss sweet little Boerum Hill. Nestled along a bustling stretch of Atlantic Avenue on the borough’s west side, peruse an unexpectedly cosmopolitan trove of quaint homes, gardens, treasure-laden antiques emporia and small designer boutiques.

Here, trees rustle softly between historic brownstone row houses, while intimate and laid-back dining spots, including the arboreal Rucola on Dean Street and Jewish delicatessen Mile End on Hoyt Street, are tucked away and adored by this friendly and tightly knit community.

Further west, the promenade overlooking the East River waterfront is a perennial favorite for running and romantic strolls. It’s also the best spot around here to snap a picture-perfect panorama of the Statue of Liberty and beyond. And if sight of the Manhattan makes you crave her company, don’t fret: a couple of different lines can deliver you there in a matter of minutes.

What makes this apartment unique

Booking a stay is as easy as booking a hotel room, with online payment and confirmation. You get the same attention to detail and personal service too.

Every home is properly cleaned before and after you stay, beds made (we can even do hospital corners) and bathrooms kitted out with luxury toiletries. There’s a maid service if you want it, as well as other hotel-style amenities.

Once we’ve helped you settle in, we’re just a call away, 24/7. If it’s something we can’t solve over the phone, we’ll pop over to lend a hand.

And because nobody wants to be a tourist, our homes come with personal and unique recommendations from the people who live in them – places to eat, things to do and adventures to go on.
