A celestial scene

The evolving streets of Greenwich Village are full of surprises – and this awe-inspiring home might be one of them. Cross the threshold onto Randall Place’s gleaming wood floors and the addictive bustle of New York seems to recede. Its rooms are pearl-hued, each furnished with graceful lamps and pale sofas strewn with silk cushions. And there’s even an array of suitably delicate artworks to be glimpsed throughout, including the captivating and unusual wrought-iron flower in the dining room.

Sophisticated souls

Your hosts have refined tastes, but they’ve enjoyed adding personal touches to their home too, like books and artworks that impart a welcoming, family-friendly warmth.

Otherworldly essentials

Just outside Randall Place, renowned restaurants and boutiques, as well as the hip haunts of the Bowery, all await. But this home’s comforts will be hard to leave behind for long. The velvet-framed master bed, flanked by white fur rugs, is sure to satisfy most – although the lavish bathrooms, each clad in marble and mosaic tiles, come close. With a super-sleek kitchen and dining room – complete with a gleaming dining table and neat breakfast bar – to be enjoyed, there are certainly plenty of reasons to stay in.

About Owner / Property Manager

onefinestay gives you the chance to stay in someone's place while they're out of town. You get to live their life for a few days and nights.

Booking a stay is as easy as booking a hotel room. And there's service to match.

Nobody wants to be a tourist, so our homes come with recommendations from the people who live in them. For everything else, we're here 24/7.

Why Owner / Property Manager chose Greenwich Village

With a past as storied as the tomes penned by literary giants who once walked its cobblestone streets, Greenwich Village is quite possibly New York’s most intriguing neighbourhood.

Over time, the Village has dramatically transformed from a quiet rural hamlet to a bohemian fount of alternative culture and finally, to the highly affluent and immensely sought-after neighborhood it is today.

Exempt from Manhattan’s no-nonsense city grid, its warren of tree-shaded streets is a delight to get lost in: flowerbox-decorated Greek revival row houses give way to charming sidewalk cafes and fetching independent boutiques, as well as lovely little outposts of designer brands.

Trend-setting rather than trendy, here farm-to-table restaurants coexist with wonderfully inventive dim sum and new-wave sushi eateries.

With New York University and The New School nearby, students comprise a significant part of the population, which adds preternaturally fun pubs, live music venues, and comedy clubs to the mix.

Washington Square Park remains the verdant heart of the neighborhood, wonderful for watching an impromptu art performance, observing a game of chess or simply sitting on a park bench for a conversation, as Mark Twain and Robert Louis Stevenson were once wont to do.

What makes this apartment unique

Booking a stay is as easy as booking a hotel room, with online payment and confirmation. You get the same attention to detail and personal service too.

Every home is properly cleaned before and after you stay, beds made (we can even do hospital corners) and bathrooms kitted out with luxury toiletries. There’s a maid service if you want it, as well as other hotel-style amenities.

Once we’ve helped you settle in, we’re just a call away, 24/7. If it’s something we can’t solve over the phone, we’ll pop over to lend a hand.

And because nobody wants to be a tourist, our homes come with personal and unique recommendations from the people who live in them – places to eat, things to do and adventures to go on.
