About Patricia Clark

My Grandfather developed the island, my fondest memories were there at the lake. My Mother had a cottage and I was lucky enough to aquire one as well.

Patricia Clark purchased this cottage in 1988

Why Patricia Clark chose Lamoka Lake

The cottage is away from most of the other cottages. It sits off the main road near a small wood patch. My idea of heaven! A few years ago the property behind our cottage was developed and I was blessed by the nicest neighbors one could ask for! They keep to them self and most often are found deep in the woods on their lake front.

Fishing is excellent BUT no swimming because our waterfront is a mud bottom. The area has beautiful, scenic farms, rolling hills with many vineyards and a large Amish population. Great place to drive or hike!

What makes this cottage unique

I love the area it is beautiful. When you look across the lake there is a mountain. In the fall the leaves change and the reflection on the water is breathtaking. Then there are the wine tour runs...our NY wine is excellent!

Had a great week

  • 4 of 5

Patti- We really enjoyed our week at your place on Lamoka lake. The cottage was very roomy, clean and had just about everything you would need. Plenty of hot water and comfortable beds. We really were impressed by the size of the yard and privacy it provided. I certainly would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Owner's Response: Thank you Lynn and Carolyn for leaving feedback. This family needed a recliner for their daughter and I was lucky enough to have one at our other cottage. They were nice enough to haul it over then back again! Our goal is always making you number one, Thanks again for the feed back. Best Regards Patti

Second stay as good as the first!

  • 5 of 5

this was our second year at the cottage for our family vacation (our grown kids and grandchildren, a 2 1/2 year old and 2 16 year olds, 9 of us altogether) and we all ready to return next year. The cottage gives us plenty of room to be together or have some alone time. The yard is great for playing outside with enough room to play Frisbee, ball or just running around. The lake offered a variety of fish when out in our small motor boat and pan fish from the dock - some weeds to contend with but they weren't bad. My favorite activity was kayaking, there are so many options in this lake - small coves with birds and water lilies, islands to paddle around, the channel. It never got boring. Of course, the best part was having the family together but can't think of a better place to go where we can just relax and enjoy our time together.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the lovely review! We do try to provide a great place to stay and relax and sometimes I worry that we somehow drop the ball, obviously we are doing a great job LOL!. Next season we will be adding two kayaks, because we have noticed folk's rent them and we want to keep your cost down Though the life jackets get legs and disappear you may want to bring your own [we never know until it is too late.] . Thanks for coming to the lake and enjoying your family times! Best Regards Patti

Great spacious cottage to stay in with friends.

  • 5 of 5

3 families from 3 states gathered in the nice cottage. Enjoy the friendship with lake view. All you can do includes bonfire boating BBQ cooking. The spacious cottage is with 4 bedrooms 1.5 bathes. The full bath is separated from all the rooms that can be easily shared by all. 1 or 2 hours drive to the gorgeous finger lakes scenary. We shoud spend more time to stay in. The only thing bothered us is to take away the trash when we left.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the nice review it is greatly appreachiated. I do understand the concern regarding taking your own trash to the town pick up. The good news is it is only 5 minutes from the cottage with free reclying behind same area. On the other hand if we had trash pickup the next person in would have the last person trash which could be a problem. I do apologize for the inconvience and again thanks for picking our cottage!

Great Family Vacation

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful time. The fishing was very good and we loved the yard, living and dining areas. The sunsets on the clear nights were amazing. The chipmunks and other wildlife made for some good entertainment.

A nice, spacious cottage by the water. No cars!

  • 5 of 5

This house is thoroughly worth the money. It's very close to a nice small lake, but conveniently situated between Seneca and Keuka Lakes. It's private, quiet, no roads nearby - plus nice neighbors behind the house.

The house itself is very spacious, perhaps a little rustic for some tastes, but clean and in a beautiful setting. The main living space is modern and lovely! The wildlife is great here and canoeing is very peaceful. The owner, Patti, is very conscientious and nice.

Great general store in Tyrone for the "basics" - beer, bread, cookies, tires, nails, etc!! Towards Bradford try the Kozy Korner Restaurant. We would happily return here and in the meantime we recommend this house to others!!

Perfect quiet relaxing weekend

  • 5 of 5

I drove into a quiet area, and down an even quieter road to be welcomed by a beautiful cottage with a view right to the lake. My son was enamored by the dock where he caught his first fish (followed by about a dozen more). The kayak we rented allowed us quick passage to a wetland area about 2 minutes away where I saw herons, red winged black birds, snapping turtles, dragonflies, and so much more. The rowboat and canoes on the property were another huge hit with my family. We could go out to the middle of the lake, and simply enjoy the nice breeze with some sun. As the evening waned on we could sit in the back yard, grill some clams, and read or chat. The cottage had everything we could ask for right there, including gates to help keep our dogs corralled at night. I don't really know a better way to actually relax and get away from all the hustle and bustle of life for a week.
