Do you crave a quite retreat to replenish your spirit? Away from the daily grind? Watch the sun set over the mountain, or the frequent weekend fireworks. Catch that big bass you have dreamed about? It is all here waiting for your pleasure on our one acre lot! From the moment you park the car you will be amazed at our lovely location. The brick walk beacons you into our semi-modern cottage. Granite countertops in the kitchen for that must have cook, and a gas fireplace for those romantic nights. Central location to the wine trails (within 20- 45 minutes) We offer a private location with wood lot on both sides of home & a large flat lawn. We have a nice fishing spot and a roomy 15 year old cottage-2100 sq. ft.! The kitchen is fully stocked, big bathroom & roomy bedrooms plus we are pet friendly. Our lake front is mud and muck but there are public beaches nearby. For the budget minded traveler we also have a 3 bedroom 1 bath double wide. It has a nice enclosed porch.

We are with in 20-45 minutes from the major wine trails. Watkins Glenn is just over the hill (20 minutes), Nearest highway is Route 17 and Route 226. The nearest road intersection would be Rt. 226 and Laomoka Lake road, our cottage is about 1/2 mile off of Lamoka Lake Rd. a level dirt road in good condition.We have a boat lauch too! Curtis Air Museum near Hamondsport (15-20 minutes), Hamondsport is a charming town with many curio shops and the Kueka Maid Cruise boat that also offer lunch or dinner Kueka Lake Cruises. Corning is only a 40 minute drive and they have the Glass Museum, and many fine restaurants, outlet stores and the Remington Museum. The Windmill is about 15 minutes away open only on weekends with many Amish vendors, crafts, and local wine merchants. The Best thing to do is just some R & R at the lake!

Check out my guest book, our cottage is clean, we have two newer mattress (King Coil -king size and Sealy Beautyrific- double size both medium firm) and people come back again! Last minute bookings welcome please check my calender, if the cottage is vacant and it is seven days or less before your stay we will rent for $175 big cottage/ or $100 a night on the small one- TWO night minimum. Cleaning fee is only $50 compare that to most cottages charging minimum of $75 our low rate covers up to two hours of cleaning time by our staff. Pet fee is $50 for first dog $25 additional dog up to three allowed. No tax on weekly rentals, NO OTHER HIDDEN FEES EVER!!

    We are on Lamoka Lake with in 30 minutes of most attractions. The lake is well known for it's fishing bass, sunny, blue gill, and bull head to name a few. Approximately 11 miles long, mostly mud bottom we have a 25 foot dock (mud lake front but good swimmers can take the canoe out & tow a inflatable raft for lake swimming or canoe to front of Island rocky bottom there), gas grill, 14 foot row boat, and a large & small canoe. We own over 100 feet of private waterfront. There is a sandy beach on 'Red Banks' to swim (you would need a motor boat to get there)- a vacant island in the middle of the lake (its is a hike from our cottage though) . Our 14 foot row boat will take a small motor if you have one. Some daring souls take the canoe around to the front of Island & swim off shore water is public property, the land adjacent is private property and vacant.

  • Our big cottage has 2 rooms with one double bed, 1 room with 3 beds, 1 br with King Size bed on 1st floor and trundle bed on 1st floor. The cottage is not handicap friendly there is a step going into the half bath, full bath is on 2nd floor and there are 5-6 stairs going out to the lake. The land is fairly flat and even. Two canoes and one row boat are available. The cottage has a local only phone hook up, calling cards are welcome. Cell phones seldom work! Our little cottage has one double bed, one queen and a twin. One bathroom and efficient kitchen. The enclosed porch is the nicest feature, and the waterfront has a uneven grade to an area you can fish at. The remaining 100 feet of waterfront is steep unable to acess it with the exception of a small one person foot path along 20 + feet long. it is a great place to view frogs, turtles, blue heron, geese and duck. The cottage is also very quite with only one side neighbor who is a recluse. dirt road travels along one the back of it

Rest & Relax: Many guest comment on our peaceful setting and the nice fishing. We have people who return yearly and have written comments in our guest book. We are located 20 minutes from Watkins Glenn speedway (via back roads seldom a hassle in getting to the race track). Our cottage is large enough to host that family reunion you have talked about but never get around to doing. Or you just need some down time, quite time, time for you. you'll love our small community very friendly summer people. Do you want a cottage facing the lake where you can just relax? Take the kids to the park or beach and come back to luxury ? Or would a smaller cottage be more your style sitting in the enclosed porch watching the wildlife? Both places are quite, a good place to read, relax or call home base after a long day of touring. Fishing is good on Lamoka Lake check us out!

Things to Do: The area's finest wineries are an easy drive from the cottage. Many antique dealers in the region, & the popular outdoor 'Windmill' featuring Amish baked good, smoked sausage, & cheese. The Windmill is only open Saturday stop before you arrive at the lake! Corning glass about 40 minutes from the cottage, kids go free! Hang Gliding in Big Flats (40 minute drive). The big cottage has two canoes and one row boat plus there is a private boat launch. The little cottage has a paddle boat only with fish from shore for our first 2009 year.

Patti- We really enjoyed our week at your place on Lamoka lake. The cottage was very roomy, clean and had just about everything you would need. Plenty of hot water and comfortable beds. We really were impressed by the size of the yard and privacy it provided. I certainly would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

It was a fisherman's dream for pan fish which we love. Great for family vacations, kids of all ages. The extra boats were available, easy access boat launch. Many amenities already there which is a big help. Loved the fireplace for cool mornings and sat at the firepit for cool evenings. We enjoyed the R&R. Patti is very prompt in answering emails, very friendly and accomodating, wanting to make our stay an enjoyable one.

We have rented before, and have always been pleased. First let me say the cottage is very clean and well its a really house size not some small little cottage. The kitchen is bigger then mine with granite counter tops and all the stuff you really need! We went on canoe trips into the swamp near by amazing birds, and reptiles. At night we did somores and hot dogs. We love to go to the lake to relax and do the wine trails. Beds are comfortable, water was hot, washing machine available. My hint bring your own pillows, & linens and have a great time!

Excellent bang for your buck!

A group of 7 of us rented this cottage for 3 nights and it was a great choice! The cottage had everything we needed! The shower had lots of water pressure (which is rare for a cottage) and the hot water heater heated water very quickly. The living room is very comfy and cozy with ample amount of room for a large group to occupy... The rowboat and canoes were in great shape. It is a very private cottage and it provided a great view of Lamoka Lake along with the fall colors on the other side of the lake. Most of all, Patti and Julia were very helpful along the way and was able to answer to all our questions. We arrived late on the first night and Julia went into the cottage and turned on the fireplace for us so that the cottage was nice and cozy when we arrived! A very thoughtful touch! We will definitely come back here again! Thank you Patti and Julia for your warm hospitality!

An awesome vacation retreat at good price

This is the third straight year my family has stayed here. Beautiful location. It's very quiet and secluded with a private cove at the water's edge. The cottage is very large with spacious rooms. Fishing is excellent. The rowboat can get you to many good fishing spots. We put a small motor on it which gets you everywhere else. Great spot is just on the other side of Weller Island in 7-10 feet of water. Love everything about it. Coming back every year!
