Private home centered on 5 lots with 300 ft of beach area located on St. Martins Point. Watch the sunset from inside or decks outside. A few hundred feet away find acres of Federal forest and trails for walking, biking, cross country skiing, your ORV's. Bring a kayak or boat and explore the shoreline, or many Les Cheneaux Islands. If you are looking for peace and quiet you will find it here. This is a private point with a limited amount of resident homes. Master bedroom has king-size bed and 1/2 bath in the 'loft' with cat walk to outside upper deck. Downstairs find full bath and bedroom with queen-size bed. Kitchen is equipped with Jenn Aire stove and range, dishwasher, trash compactor and kitchen cookware.

Location: Upper Peninsula Michigan < Michigan < USA

Hessel, located within 6 miles has a restaurant, store with deli, Mertaugh's Boat Works and Marina featuring the Antique Wooden Boat Show in August. Cedarville, which is only 2 more miles you will find several restaurants, grocery store, library, a golf course, the Les Cheneaux Historical Museum and Maritime Museum with antique wooden boats on display. Climb St. Ignace's Castle Rock to overlook the city or catch the catamaran to Mackinac Island, both are only 20 miles away. Sault Ste. Marie and the Soo Locks are 44 miles. Take a day trip to Drummond Island, Tahquamenon Falls or Whitefish Point. Casinos are located in Hessel, St. Ignace and Sault Ste. Marie.

My husband and I have rented several vacation homes in the past. This one, by far, was our favorite. It exceeded our expectations and was very clean and comfortable. The view from the house of the lake and the surroundings are unbelievable.We had a list of things we wanted to do in the area,but only made it to the Soo Lock tour. The house was too nice to leave.The owners are very gracious and easy
to deal with. I would definetly recommend this home to our family and friends, We are looking forward to an extended vacation here next summer with our children and grandchildren.
Owner's Response: That the effort we have put into our "future" retirement home is appreciated, pleases me especially. Julie provides the seemingly endless to-do's and I try to follow her direction with minimal resistance.

Our stay was just awesome ,the house was beautiful. Very clean , everything you need is in the house .Enjoyed the view and surrounding area. Owners are very helpful and made us feel very welcome. We are looking forward to coming back and hopefully can stay longer next time.

Cabin and location are absolutely amazing. Owners are very thoughtful and have provide everything listed in the description and more. Entertain yourself at the cabin or visit nearby Les Cheveaux, Sault Ste Marie, Mackinak Island, Search Bay, Horseshoe Bay, etc. We visited all 3 Great Lakes as well on our trip. We had our 4 daughters (13-5 1/2) with us and they definitely want to come back - this is a great location for couples with or without children. The cabin is well appointed and the owners have thought of everything. We loved the boat and paddle boat and had many campfires in the evening. The hammocks were a great hit as well. We took many photographs of the scenery and nature while there. It was wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the UP.
Owner's Response: Making it not just a vacation, but one with family memories keeps us continuing to rent your home. We hope for the time you spend their it feels like home to you.

Class in the woods & on the water !

Very well maintained and complete summer or winter home in a special location. Nearby Hessel and Cedarville have great whitefish and perch and other supplies to complete your vacation! Master bedroom is upstairs and overlooks the lakefront with a 2 nd bedroom downstairs for the kids or not. A great romantic get-a-way !
Owner's Response: We spend alot of time making the house comfortable and are greatful to hear when someone appreciates it.
