EASTERN U.P. LES CHENEAUX ISLAND AREA -

I can't say enough good things about our stay. The cabin was beautiful, clean, full of character and amenities....even the smallest detail was thought of. The location is spectacular...not to far off the expressway, but still quiet and peaceful with beautiful lake views...what a way to enjoy a morning cup of coffee!

There is a beach area, and the first few feet are rocky, but after that the water is great...just wear some swim shoes. It was nice to have water access at our doorstep. Sandy beaches of Lakes Michigan and Huron are only 10-20 minutes away, as well as St. Ignace and the ferry's to Mackinaw Island. If you like horses, I definantly suggest Cindy's Stables on the island. If fishing is your thing, Dream Seaker Charters were fantastic. The kids were never bored.

Julie and John are a pleasure to work with. We would definantly stay here again!

I cannot say enough about our stay at this very beautiful house! We all loved the exterior as well as the spacious, very tastefully decorated interior. The house is very well maintained and equipped and very clean. The views of Lake Huron were spectacular, especially the sunsets!! One can see the lake and sunsets from the master bedroom, the kitchen and living/dining area. We did some day trips but tried to be back in time to watch this spectacle. We felt very safe and really liked the location. The owners are very easy to deal with, respond fast and made us feel very welcome in their wonderful house. We would definitely stay there again. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

John & Julie's cabin is every bit as good as the listing description and more! The location is so peaceful, almost secluded, but a great homebase for all the day trips that the area affords. And if you choose to hang at the cabin, you can just relax, go hiking, biking, or boating (trails, bikes & boats provided!)

The cabin is beautiful, inside and out, clean and well maintained. John & Julie were great to work with when we needed assistance, which we greatly appreciated.

One local restaurant to try - An-gio's in Cedarville. We were impressed with the freshness of the ingredients of our meals (possibly grown/caught locally?) The attractions and activities in the area are too numerous to mention, but be sure to check out all the info at the cabin. You'll have a hard time deciding what to do first! I would definitely recommend this great place to my friends!

I know saying this about the UP of Michigan may sound crazy, but sitting on the deck, watching the sunset over the bay in the evening, reminded me of being in Hawaii. The tall trees with foilage at the top reminded me of palm trees, the water was so blue, and it was so peaceful you could hear the water lapping the shore. It was almost like being at the ocean! (only a few degrees cooler)

If we are ever back in the area, I would surely like to book this cabin again.
