Sleeps 10. 4 bedroom house with large newly built modern extension added to original cottage. Huge windows, wooden flooring throughout, wonderful light, magic tranquil location surrounded by nature. 2 separate indoor entertaining areas. All main rooms face the sea. Cedar decking and spacious garden for children to run free. Private Parking for 5-6 cars. A short walk to a quiet safe beach. 15 minute drive to all amenities of the market town of Skibbereen. Perfect for family or romantic getaway

This is a beautifully finished, tastefully furnished house set in it's own private 6 acres. Cedar decking flows into landscaped gardens and on into the natural seascape. The sea meets the land in a natural gorge. The house was designed to suit a family with children and works perfectly for a large family or 2 smaller families holidaying together. The spacious kitchen and separate living room allow adults and children space to enjoy separate activities. In good weather the large deck comes into its own as another living/eating area. In bad weather central heating, 2 wood burning stoves, excellent insulation and large picture windows still allow maximum enjoyment of nature at its liveliest. It is perfect for a relaxing break or as a well located base from which to enjoy all the amenities of West Cork. Bird watching, water sports of all descriptions, long walks, historical locations, traditional music sessions, quad biking, tennis, fishing, great and golf are all easily accessible.

The house works very well for families where grandparent(s) are joining parents and children because of the 2 separate living areas.

Booking Notes:

A deposit of 50% will be taken at the time of booking. The remainder is due 4 weeks before arrival. We will also take a returnable deposit of Euro 250 upon arrival against damage. Electricity and oil for central heating will be charged separately. A utility deposit of Euro 50 per week will also be taken upon arrival.
