Absolutely Perfect

We spent a week in mid-August (2009) at Wee Duck Inn. It was absolutely perfect. The condo was comfortable, airy and clean, as were the beach and the pool, which are both on the same side of the road, you don't even need to put on your shoes to get there. Some things that were particularly special - the kitchen includes a full set of pots, pans and cookware, there are washers and dryers in the basement area, and particularly helpful to us, the newly- installed wireless internet. This was great (!!), as we were able to check out restaurant menus and operating times of various attractions (check out the North Carolina Aquarium, the shark tank is amazing), and for the first time in our many years of visiting the Outer Banks, we arranged for tickets to the Lost Colony pageant at Roanoke. The condo community is peaceful and family-oriented. We have already arranged to return for 2010, I can't wait.
