Very cozy lakefront carriage-house apartment on private property, approximately 1000 square feet, with huge 26 by 10 foot deck, beautiful views, only 100 feet from lake shore. Located 7 km from Magog and Georgeville, in private unspoiled area. Includes 1 double and 2 twin beds - portable crib or cot also possible. Well equipped kitchen with gas stove and all essentials for cooking, complementary coffee and cooking basics. This is a phosphate free environment so we supply all soaps, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, shampoo, etc. 'Bleu Lavande' (local lavender products) are provided.. Washer and dryer. Air conditioned. Jacuzzi tub. BBQ on downstairs patio. High speed internet via WIFI. Weekly housekeeping when staying over 7 days. Property also includes wooded area, private beach, and residence of owners, but privacy is guaranteed.

Cross Country skiiing and lots of snow!

We wanted to write to let you know how much we enjoyed your rental. It was our first time in Magog and we really liked it. We got a chance to cross country ski at the National Park and explored the downtown area. We found a lot of good things at the bakery. Also the snowstorm made it very exciting! Thanks again.

Away from It All - Convenient to Everything

This property was perfect for us - very private - yet convenient (minutes away) to all dining and shopping the town of Magog has to offer. This apartment is a perfect home base for exploring the history and culture of the Eastern Townships of Quebec. The property is exactly as described on HomeAway. The owners are rightly proud of this property, the lake and the area, and they made us feel at home and comfortable. Watch the shooting stars at night from the large deck right off the living room and master bedroom. We hated to leave this place, and hope to return in the spring, after you snow-lovers have enjoyed the wonderland that must exist during the winter season.

Haven of relaxation

It rained for most of the two weeks we were there but it didn't matter. The apartment/cottage is so cosy and has so much to do. We swam when the sun came out in the very clear and warm water, and when it rained we watched movies and cooked in the well-appointed kitchen. The area has a lot to do from antique hunting to museums to amazing nature trails. We'd definitely rent again in the summer and want to try the winter as well for a cross country skiing vacation.

Excellent Family Getaway

Our family of 5 had a fantastic ski week at this lakefront property. Our dog enoyed it too. It was an easy drive to Mont Orford for some excellent March Break skiing. The local wooded property was a wonderful place for the boys and dog to play in the snow. We took full advantage and went for a snowshoe walk through the woods and out on to the lake. The property owners were not at home, but show great hospitality in offering us their newspapers, maple syrup and the use of their heated garage. Inside the apartment it was very clean and comfortable. It was certainly very well appointed and warm. The heated tile floors, bathroom towel warmer, warm bedding and wood stove made it all very cozy. For some down time there was an excellent library of videos, DVD's and books. We would like to reccommend this property, and have already booked it for our next March break.
