The Seasons:
Spring; Laden with Blossoms, preview of the fall’s harvest can be found on our heirloom apple, and peach trees.
Summers; Legendary for warm days & cool nights & Alyson’s explodes with the sights & sounds of nature. June sees spring’s tadpoles turned to frogs singing nightly serenades & the annual two week visit of firefly’s turns the orchard into the best light show in nature. Our ponds have warmed to perfection by July & there’s nothing quite like a cool dip in the middle of a hot day. The lush grounds of the orchard are a picnicking paradise. Have a long lunch in the shade of a large tree while the kids build sand castles & chase baby frogs across the grass.
Autumn; In New England nature’s infinite palette dazzles this time of year & Alyson’s offers the best seat in the house
Winter Let it snow!! With some of New England’s the best skiing and snowboarding nearby, Alyson’s makes a perfect base camp for your winter getaways.
Ski:
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!! With some of New England's the best skiing & snow-boarding right next door, Alyson’s makes a perfect base camp for your winter getaways. Killington, Mt Snow, Stratton, Bromely & Sugarbush are all within comfortable driving distance.
Snowmobiling & cross country skiing are favorites here as well & sno-shoeing (no, that’s not a typo) is growing in popularity with every winter. Winter hiking in fresh packed snow is a real treat & there are many trails available.

Golf & tennis facilities abound including Bretwood Golf Course, Bellows Falls Country Club, Keene Country Club, Pine Grove Springs Country Club, Brattleboro Country Club, Crown Point Country Club & Hooper Golf Club (9 Holes).
