ÉVORA, historic town in the heart of the Alentejo, is heir to a rich and varied cultural heritage, built and preserved over time. Founded by the Roman people and by this Ebora Liberalitas named Iulia, the city was a stronghold to its foundations, in addition-Tejo, forming the new Kingdom of Portugal during the Christian Reconquista peninsular century.
