Bar Harbor Vacation Rental house

Our family met in Bar Harbor for a "whole family vacation" and stayed at this house recently. We had 8 adults and 3 children under two years. The locataion was great - convenient to everything, but far enough away that we had privacy. The out door deck had plenty of space for us to be loud and other houses were not on top of us, so we felt alone. There is also an outdoor grill already hooked up to propane gas, which was a feature many of the houses that we looked at did not have. It had plenty of space and the accomodations were as promised - nothing more or less than what you see in the pictures. We ate in many nights and found the kitchen to be equipped enough to satisfy our needs. The owner also returned the deposit in a timely manner after our vacation was finished. The only pitfall to our gathering was the fact that we had small children new to "exploring"; therefore, bring two child gates for the stairs if you are in the same position. I checked that I would rent this house to families with small children because of the fact that the "great room" plan makes it very convenient to keep an eye on them while they are playing. You do need a car to get around in this location, but that was not a problem at all. I would rent this house again and would definitely reccomend it to anyone looking for a large house in that area in this price range.
