Another excellent pub that is located just to the north of the cottage. It is possible to walk to ‘The Fishes’ via 2 routes as shown on the map enclosed. The direct route is via the footpath along the side of the A34 (25 mins). The scenic route is along the bridle path that can be accessed before the footbridge as you head into the city centre (45 mins).
