The best view in town, of the town! Harborside is a charming two-story condominium at 80 Washington Street, directly at the water's edge at Francis Street Beach on Nantucket's inner harbor. (The second unit from the left in the picture.) The beach is great for swimming, kayaking, collecting shells, and watching seagulls hunt for food. Harborside is just a few blocks from a grocery store, Main Street shopping, the historic district, a fresh fish market, and superb restaurants. Thus, no car is needed, but parking is provided. The living room on the first floor looks out to the beach, harbor, and town. It opens to the dining area and has a pass-through to the kitchen. There is also a half bath on this level. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with its own full bath. The master bedroom has a queen bed and its own deck overlooking the beach. The second bedroom has two twin beds. The laundry facilities are also on this level. The house is fully equipped.

At the adjacent harbor beach, you can rent kayaks, wade or swim, watch seagulls catch their food, walk the beach for shells, listen to the ferries, and watch the harbor activities. The island also offers an extensive network of biking and walking paths, excellent bird watching, the Maria Mitchell Nature center, the Whaling Museum, deep-sea fishing, ocean swimming, outstanding restaurants, and great shopping in the historic town center. The address is 80 Washington St.
