Lovely Pocono retreat located on Larsen Lake within the Big Bass Lake Community (BBLC). Spacious living room with panoramic lake views, vaulted ceilings with skylights and stone fireplace. Sleeps 10 comfortably in 4 bedrooms with 2 baths. Fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Wrap-around deck (with separate screened-in porch area) overlooks private sandy beach with dock. Firewood is included.

Big Bass Lake has a large outdoor swimming pool & baby pool, full basketball court, tennis courts, playground, volleyball, a heated indoor pool & sauna, game room with pool table & shuffleboard table, coffee shop & lounge area, ski slope with T-bar lift, snow-tubing & sledding hills. Bring your own skis or sleds. Use of these facilities requires a badge per person (over 6) purchased through the community association. Ice-fishing & skating are also available.

A 25 minute drive will take you to Camelback ski area (and Camel Beach Water park in the summer), Jack Frost & Big Boulder ski areas with a variety of winter & summer activities (e.g. snowmobiling, ATV, paint ball). Other activities nearby include swimming, boating, hiking, horseback riding, outlet mall shopping, NASCAR (Pocono Raceway), white water rafting, golfing at one of 20+ courses within 20 miles, & many more.

Our lake is a very quiet & peaceful lake, as only electric motors are allowed.

This house and property is great! On the lake, the house gets great sunlight and the sun sets across the lake, so sitting on the deck or the dock just before sunset is the place to be. Ten in our party and the layout of the house is perfect, plenty of room. We will be returning!

Our family had the pleasure of sharing a week together at the beautiful Christel lake house during the month of August. Six adults and one dog fit comfortably in this spacious home. However, we spent most of the time sitting on the private shore and dock enjoying the lake at all hours of the day and into the evening. It was such a peaceful and restful retreat. We fished, canoed, swam, sunned, and took lots of pictures of the nature surrounding us. The house is tucked away in a forest niche for privacy although very few people appeared to be at this area of the lake the week we were there. We loved the solitude. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to gather the family at the Christel lake house again in the future.

This was our first time renting a vacation house. The Christel's made it very easy, everything was pretty much done electronically, just the final lease had to be signed and mailed. When we walked in we were expecting a smaller house..but WOW what a house, PLENTY of room!! The house is updated with the stainless steel refrigerator and range and the bathrooms are are beautiful. The house maintains the quaint charm with the wood floors and trim. We stayed with 2 other families, and had kids ranging from 5 to 15 years old, they all had a blast. The younger kids enjoyed the little beach area (right by the house..what a bonus!!) and fishing. The older kids enjoyed using the paddle boats and canoe's. Plenty of board games and a foosball table to keep the kids busy. We lucked out with great weather. Definately plan on coming back. The Burke's 2012.

Beautiful place to stay the house has everything you can ask for lake was relaxing would def reccomend staying here can not wait to come back the Christels were vert helpful and everyone around us were very friendly
