Lovely Pocono retreat located on Larsen Lake within the Big Bass Lake Community (BBLC). Spacious living room with panoramic lake views, vaulted ceilings with skylights and stone fireplace. Sleeps 10 comfortably in 4 bedrooms with 2 baths. Fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Wrap-around deck (with separate screened-in porch area) overlooks private sandy beach with dock. Firewood is included. Please check our Availability Calendar (below left) for availability information. You MUST be at least 25 to enter into an agreement.

Big Bass Lake has a large outdoor swimming pool & baby pool, full basketball court, tennis courts, playground, volleyball, a heated indoor pool & sauna, game room with pool table & shuffleboard table, coffee shop & lounge area, ski slope with T-bar lift, snow-tubing & sledding hills, & a ski rental shop - or bring your own skis or sleds. Use of these facilities requires a badge per person (over 6) purchased through the community association. Ice-fishing & skating are also available. A 25 minute drive will take you to Camelback ski area (and Camel Beach Water park in the summer), Jack Frost & Big Boulder ski areas with a variety of winter & summer activities (e.g. snowmobiling, ATV, paint ball). Other activities nearby include swimming, boating, hiking, horseback riding, outlet mall shopping, NASCAR (Pocono Raceway), white water rafting, golfing at one of 20+ courses within 20 miles, & many more. Our lake is a very quiet & peaceful lake, as only electric motors are allowed.

The house was very cozy. We had a good time. The fireplace was the best part because it was so cold outside. We hope to stay in the summertime and do some outdoor stuff. All in all the house was great.

What a great idea it was to spend our 40th wedding anniversary up at the Lake, with all our family around us.The moment we threw back the drapes and saw the beautiful views of the Lake and the wrap-around deck overlooking the beach and dock area; that put one big smile on our faces and we knew we were going to have a great time.The house was clean and well kept. The Great Room connects to the dinning area and the kitchen, which has a cute breakfast bar, sky lights to let in the sun and a great big fireplace.We fished off the dock ,went canoeing, we saw a young buck, a doe and a baby dear, we saw wild turkeys too. I got some great photos.In the evening we barbecued and ate alfresco . We watch the beautiful sunsets and when it got dark we went in to light a fire and told stories and reminisced about old times. We payed cards, dominos, trivia pursuit,
We listened to good music,enjoyed some good wine and we enjoyed just being together.Even our little dog Sam was right at home,the house really is comfy . Well we made some great memories, I would recommend this vacation for young or old. Thank you Joe and Leanne for sharing your Lake Home, we all had a great time!

My weekend in Paradise

I thought this place was great with a beautiful view of the Lake. It has all the ammenties, well maintained, clean and cozy. The house is spacious and open and you don't feel like your on top of each other which is key with kids. We canoed, fished, bbq'd, and just relaxed fireside. It's perfect for families and even better with multiple families. I would definitely recommend this place and I would come back again and rent from them. Overall awesome weekend

We spent a weekend with three families and had a great time! The house was beautiful and roomy with a nice private beach. The kids enjoyed fishing, boating, and playing in the sand. Adults enjoyed relaxing looking at the sunset on the lake! I would definitely recommend this lake house to a friend - it was wonderful!!!

The cottage was great. We had two families (4 adult 4children) and there was plenty of room. The cottage is well stocked and in excellent conditions. The Big Bass club house and pool were enjoyed and a nice addition to our vacation. The beached were also enjoyable and had life guards which allowed the adults to relax a bit.
The kids enjoyed expolring around the cottage and there was minimum traffic near the cottage location. The lake is nice and the cottage has two canoes and a paddle boat that were nice for checking out the lake. The beach at larsen lake is a 5-10 minute paddle away and there are tennis courts, life guards and room for the kids to play.
Overall this was a first rate family vacation and an enjoyable time was had by all. An added bonus was you coud sit out at night and not worry about bugs, there were none. Fishing off the dock was ok for younger kids and swimming at the cottage isn't the best but again there are two nice beaches close by.
Communication with the owners was flawless and made the experience worry free. Highly recommend this cottage.
