Not just a rental - this is our home-away-from-home and is set up for family comfort!!! Recently decorated, regularly owner occupied, fully furnished and stocked with all dishware and linens, including towels. Two-floor unit on top floor of Golden Eagle Lodge for maximum quiet. Very spacious bedrooms set up for families: Bedroom 1 has an Olympic queen bed with a new, top-of-the-line orthopedic pillow-top mattress and a set of bunks with new, high-end mattresses. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a set of bunks with new, high-end mattresses. 1 Full bathroom with additional sink/dressing area. Living room has 32' flat screen cable TV, DVD/VCR, sofa and a futon with innerspring mattress. Loft provides extra family room space with sofa, two cozy chairs and 27' cable TV with VCR & Sony PlayStation/2 with games. Kitchen contains microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, disposal, coffee maker, toaster and full-size refrigerator with ice maker. Complete laundry area on-site.

Waterville Valley is a complete year-round mountain resort nestled in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest - only 2 hours north of Boston. Our condominium, located in the Golden Eagle Lodge of Waterville Valley, enjoys not only gorgeous mountain views but also easy walking access to everything. Golf, swimming, boating, town square shops and dining, the indoor ice arena, the White Mountain Athletic Club, the skateboard/BMX park, sleigh rides and miles of biking/hiking/cross-country trails are a short stroll away. For skiers, the free shuttle service will pick you up from the warm lobby and drop you off right at the ski lifts. All of the activities and attractions of the White Mountains are a short ride up Route 93. If you have some stormy weather, enjoy our extensive DVD/Video library (over 150 titles rated G to R) or the indoor pool, sauna, Jacuzzis & game room right on site. If you have a laptop with wireless capability, high speed access is available for a small fee

For you skiers, the free shuttle service will pick you up from the warm lobby and drop you off right at the ski lifts. All of the activities and attractions of the White Mountains are a short ride up Route 93. Full access to the White Mountain Athletic Club (located across the street) through our membership (small guest fee applies). Free Valley Shuttle takes you directly from our heated lobby to the ski area and back. Shuttles run continuously throughout the day. Everything else is a very short walk from the condo. No worries about parking.

Easy Indoor Activities: Should bad weather keep you inside or if you just feel the need to stay in and relax for a day, enjoy our own extensive DVD/video library (over 150 titles with ratings from G to R) or the indoor pool, sauna, Jacuzzis and game room right on-site. If you have a laptop with wireless accessibility, curl up and enjoy wireless broadband internet access from the comfort of your condo ($9.95 per day).

Well maintained condo, nice kitchen, a cool mountain breeze kept the condo very comfortable , close to many hiking and biking trails. Very quiet. Our teenage sons enjoyed the big screen TV! Locked room to store your bikes.

The condo was great and a lot bigger than expected. I appreciated Karen being so nice and giving us the little extra because it was available. I only give it a "good" rating because of "The Golden Eagle". But I gave Karen my input and she is forwarding it on so hopefully they will change. But overall, great condo and great area. Would absolutly rent here again.

Lovely home away from home!

Our experience with the owners of this property was excellent - good communication, accurate description of the property, great amenities in the Valley. We will come back again. My children and grandchildren stayed in this unit during a rainy week in August - and we all had a wonderful time. There is so much to do in the Valley (even on rainy days) and there are games, both video and board games, in the unit to keep everyone entertained. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, tried ice skating, went to a play, played Bingo in the rec center, had dinner in the Cayote Grill (highly recommended), the list just goes on and on. The staff in the Golden Eagle were always ready to accommodate any need you had, which in our case was very few. I highly recommend the Valley, and specifically this unit, for a family vacation.

Great Stay in March 2006

We had a terrific 4 night stay in this unit at the Golden Eagle. We've been to Waterville many times in the past and had always wanted to stay at this property, given its primo central location.

The condo was a great home base for our family of six (4 children under 12), very comfortable and warm, perfect (and close!) after a day on the slopes. Kids loved the pool, the Nintendo, and we all loved the immense DVD collection. We were also walking distance to several good dining options, which was very convenient.

We're all looking forward to staying in this unit in the future.
