Built in 1826, and listed in the National Register, this unique Carriage House was said to be occupied by Justin Morgan (the famous Morgan Horses) and located in Woodstock Village which is described as 'The Prettiest Town in America' by the Ladies Home Journal. Suicide Six is just 4 miles and Killington/ Pico & Okemo just 30 minutes away. A quintessential New England Village with its quaint shops, galleries, sweet shops, ice cream parlors and restaurants, it is no surprise to find yourself mesmerized by the panorama of restored historic buildings, (Woodstock Inn), homes and churches throughout the Woodstock Village Green which is all within walking distance. Don't miss the Fall Foliage which runs September 15 - October 31. Quechee Gorge is minutes away!! Rent for the skiing season or on an annual basis. Woodstock is a must to see.

We stayed here with my 8 year old son for a weekend and the location was just perfect. We walked to Billings Farm and it was under 15 minutes. We walked to all the cute stores in town and that was less than a 2 minute walk. We also went to the Town Hall Sat. night and saw a movie. Oh yes, we also walked and it only took us 10 minutes. There is also a cute small farm called Sugarbush that was a 15 minute drive and my son loved it. They had free samples of cheese and maple syrup. Delicious!!! The home was charming and had everything I needed to cook and a small grocery store was a quick walk away. Thanks for a wonderful stay. T.B.
