We knew in the first five minutes of entering this apartment that it met our expectations. we were to spend two weeks here and wanted exactly what was presented to us- a well situated, comfortable and well appointed home-from-home.The kitchen was extremely well appointed with all available modern appliances; the living room a great spot to return to after a busy day, while the bed was good and the bathroom spacious, stylish with plenty of hot water. Staff (Massimo) was efficient, friendly and helpful, patiently answering our requests and queries. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to family and friends, sure they would enjoy their stay as we did.
My husband and I stayed in the apartment for 10 days and found it to be very comfortable for 2 people. It is well equipped and we especially liked having the washing machine after having travelled for 16 days before arriving. The area is full of shops, restaurants and bars and is a good location for getting around the city. We found it a bit noisy though, even in the bedroom with all windows and doors closed from the restaurant right below the apartment, especially when they were closing up and the end of the night and putting all the tables and railings away. But if late night noise isn't a problem for you and you want to be in the middle of the action then this apartment would be a good choice.
In Rome, Trastevere is not for the Rich and Famous but rather for "real people". In this lively popular area, Roman to the core, this fine apartment is tuned just on that very same note : no fuss, simple and comfortable, well equipped with a good queen-size bed and a recently renovated bathroom with a perfect large shower. The combined living-dining room with practical kitchen area offers plenty of space to relax as it is surprisingly quiet (thanks to very good insulated windows over the busy street and restaurant below). You will also be close to many shops, traditional coffee bars and very good trattorias in surrounding attractive small streets and charming piazze... Being located about three or four hundred feet from tramways, buses and taxis makes it easy to reach Piazza Venezia in just a few minutes and from there almost everywhere in Rome. A public transport pass is available at the corner press kiosque and is a nice option. Finally, all the reservation and checking-in process was very efficient and friendly, thanks to Lucrezia and Massimo, who were of great help with our various requests. In short, the Lungaretta apartment is a nice choice to wander around at will, the management is great and the Trastevere area certainly is "one of Rome's true signatures".

We stayed in this apartment for 4 days and had a great time. Raefaele was quite patient with us when I had to rush to the ATM after he waited so long because of Rome's customs gate. Trastevere is a happening place...esp. on Saturday night. There are restaurants, cafes, entertainment in all the plazas... We mastered public transportation with a map and a pass. Comfortable bed, great location, remodeled bathroom....We would come back again! The transportation from the airport with Daniele was a great idea as well... He was also very patient with the custom's gate. Arrivederci, Roma!
My husband and I spent two wonderful weeks in this lovely, well maintained, flat. The apartment was light and airy and the kitchen very well equipped. The street below, in one of the most popular areas of the Trastevere, was often very lively. The double pained windows blocked out any noise we might not have wanted. The bedroom, with a very comfortable queen bed, was not on the street, and very quiet. All arrangements for the flat went very smoothly. Our contacts at the rental agency were prompt at answering emails and very informative. We were lucky to meet the owner, Claudio, who was very gracious and answered any questions that we had. We would highly recommend the car service to and from the airport. Daniele, was very accommodating and left us with no worries, even having to leave for the airport for an early morning flight. There are several markets nearby. The largest, Conad (VIALE TRASTEVERE 62) had everything you would need to do a bit of cooking or make an expresso or latte in the morning. The apartment is very well located to all of the historic sights of Rome. We have already recommended the apartment to friends.
Stayed here with my family for 6 days and we loved it. There are so many fantastic places to explore just outside the door, especially when the vendors set up on Friday and Saturday nights. Everything was amazingly clean and well organized. My boys used the sleeper sofa and found it perfectly comfortable. Most of all, the rental service went above and beyond to make sure our stay worked out perfectly including providing us with a street map that was better than the one we bought in the US. DO arrange for an airport pickup...it made arriving and leaving so much easier.
While Rome seduces with its extraordinary monuments, Trastevere captures the traveler's heart. It is the most authentic and characteristic District within the Historic Center, the perfect place to glimpse the old world while enjoying the lifestyle of today's Romans. Often described as Bohemian, Trastevere maintains its character thanks to the old, narrow, winding, cobblestone streets. Homes decorated with flower boxes and clinging ivy interlace with coffee bars, restaurants, and one-of-a-kind boutiques.
The apartment is located a few meters away from Piazza Trilussa and the amazing Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere. Thanks to its strategic location, you can reach within walking distance many astonishing places such as Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Imperial Forum, the Coliseum and Spanish Steps. Following the river Tiber for 10 minutes you may reach the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel. Passing through this magical place, senses are pleasantly awakened with every step.
