This adorable beach condo is spacious inside, with Saltillo tile throughout (perfect for sandy feet,) 2 flat screen TVs, high-speed internet and cable, California King size bed, and 1 Queen size bed, (wall bed in main living area that folds up and hides during the day.) Double door entrance into spacious Master, Kitchen is equipped with basic cooking conveniences of home, including microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and basic baking needs.

The condo is tastefully decorated, with warm accents, it's a spacious one bedroom with a good open feel to it, and a perfect place to settle in and enjoy the Southern California setting.

We are beach close - the entrance to Strands beach is off of Selva, just a few hundred feet away from the complex, the only thing between our bungalow and the beach entrance is parking! Strands Beach is undoubtedly one of the best beaches in Southern California, and there are 3-4 other great beaches 5 driving minutes from the condo. Our beaches are frequented by locals and vacationers alike, and are extremely popular with surfers and body boarders. 3 new trails were created; they are pristine with fantastic views and walkways. Dana Point is in South Orange County (between Los Angeles and San Diego) on coast and it is a quiet beach community full of surf lovers and low key atmosphere. If you enjoy walking, you will find a plethora of places to walk to: Ritz Carlton beach, several coffee shops, downtown Dana Point - all within a mile. Dana Point harbor is around the corner, and offers sailing, boating, kayaking, Baby Beach, and dining - very fun place!

Wonderful place for a small family

This condo unit was perfect for our family of four for a week in Orange County. It was a short ride to Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm and the beach was spectacular all week. Strands beach is perfect for those who like to lay out, swim, body surf, boogie board, or surf and it's a short walk from the unit. The waves were great, the beach was clean, and the sunsets were beautiful.

The condo accommodations are perfect for a couple or small family. The pull out bed is ample for two and the CA King in the bedroom was comfortable. Dannelle was very accommodating and helpful in making sure everything met our needs. The kitchen was nicely set up with everything you need to cook at home. We also went out to some of the great establishments in nearby Dana Point and had great food all week. We went swimming at the beach and pool almost every day and we literally fell in love with the place. Having beach towels, beach chairs, and boogie boards available was a nice touch to make the place full service for enjoying the beach.

I highly recommend this Condo unit as a great place for a small family or a couple. We didn't want to leave!

P.S. The one and only negative review below doesn't make any sense. A small sampling of the other reviews will quickly tell you that.

Great vacation condo

We had a very enjoyable stay in this condo. The location is perfect; close to all amenities and only a two minute walk to a beautiful beach. The condo itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We found everything to be in good condition and the kitchen was particularly nice. The complex has a lovely pool and spa area. Overall we had no complaints and would definitely stay here again. The owner was really great to deal with, responding promptly to our enquiries during the booking process, getting in contact to make sure we were happy during our stay and returning our deposit without delay.

Great Condo and location

I have stayed at Niguel Terrace Condos before; the reason I return this summer, as I come down each summer during Laguna's Art Festival season. Dannell was great to work with and very accommodating. The location was quiet even with the street above in the back area and even with construction going on in the surrounding association.

My friend and I enjoyed our time there as we cooked in a lot. The renovated kitchen was awsom. I did my 2 miles walk at the beach each day, with such a view and only had short walk across he street, out of the association. Beach was great there! Look forward to renting from her again! .

Excellent Vacation Experience

My wife, two kids under 10, and I had a great stay in this condo. There was enough space, the place was in great shape, the kitchen looks great - we had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all and the beach was just across the street. We enjoyed visiting the other near by beaches on the coast and the short drive to Disneyland. Thanks for making it possible.

Very Disappointed! PICS DID NOT ACCURATELLY REFLECT THE RENTALS APPEARANCE AND AMENITIES

Although the the renovated cabinets and counter-tops in the kitchen were very nicely done as well as the bathroom vanity, pictures did not reveal ALL the work that still needed to be done. You're expecting a nice beach retreat and instead decrepit sliding doors and windows, and with no a/c, it can get quite stuffy during the day and there is only one fan (in the master bedroom) available - sliding doors wouldn't open to get a cross breeze. Holes in the ceiling and doors, patio completely filthy with dirt and cobwebs with no patio set to relax on, rusty and dirty laundry units in the outside closet also filled with cobwebs and dirt, boogie boards not even functional, floors really dirty (left our feet black); overall NOT CLEAN AND NOT WELL MAINTAINED!
Not informed either that the unit is backed up to Pacific Coast Highway - you'll hear traffic noise no matter what time of day! The unit is not exactly steps to the beach either as you might expect. Niguel Beach Terrace has quite a large parking lot and being that this unit is at the very end, there is quite a bit if walking from the unit to the beach.
This place was not our idea of a vacation beach retreat, the pictures and description were completely misrepresented!!! I do not recommend this rental unit to anybody until it is verified that the entire place has been remodeled.
The owner is very nice and helpful with providing accurate directions and getting back to me in a timely manner. Strands Beach is very beautiful as well as the town of Dana Point, just wish the rental property would've been as well...too bad.

In this case we respectfully disagree with this reviewer's perspective. Most of the feedback I get after our guest's stay is that our condo was better than expected and they were pleased with the comfort and quality of our home. The other reviews here reflect this.

We understand that some guests are not familiar with how the salty ocean air can influence the exterior of a home and it is a part of our long-term plan to continue to be proactive in maintaining the patio conditions. Additionally, once a month we schedule a "deep clean" inside the home that goes beyond the regular weekly cleaning that we do.

It is very important to us that we represent ourselves accurately and that we meet or even exceed the expectations given by our listing on VRBO. With the exception of this review, we succeed in this mission. Whenever possible we invest in home furnishings and linens that are of an upgraded quality and to make it a place where people feel like it’s their home away from home.
