4 BR plus sleeping loft, 2 BA, sleeps 10 (finished game room in the basement)

Our three-level chalet is located in The Hideout, a four-star community in the Poconos, 10 miles from Lake Wallenpaupack. Offers beautiful mountain views from every window, screened-in porch and deck. As you enter the chalet, you can't help but notice the beauty of the windows which light up the rooms and enhance their natural beauty. On the lower level, you will enjoy our finished rec room with pool, ping pong and air hockey tables and Wii Game System as well as an additional bedroom and laundry room. On the main level, you will enjoy the cathedral ceiling high above both the dining & family rooms, as well as the large, fully stocked kitchen. Finally, you will enter the first-floor spacious master bedroom and master bath. We supply all bed and bath linens. The second level offers two spacious bedrooms, a loft & a large bath.

Have a fun and relaxing vacation!: No doubt you and your guests will want to spend some 'fun time' in our newly-designed Recreation Room!!! For 'gaming/competitive' side of your personally, we have placed a pool table, an air hockey table and a ping pong top into action! Newly added Wii Game System for more family fun!

Wow what a wonderful home! There are three bedrooms with queen-sized beds and a loft area with a queen-sized futon, plus many other places to sleep! I highly recommend your place! It is definitely a keeper!

The house is beautiful with personal touches. It felt more like a home than a rental. We plan on making this an annual event!

We contacted the owner, Aggie, two days before we saw this house on the web, and we're contacted immediately with a "yes it was available". The house was beautiful and very clean. The pictures did not do it justice. The owner was so very helpful and accommodating to all our needs. We had beautiful weather, sat at the lake, went kayaking, horseback riding, shopping, and lots of relaxing! The kids loved hanging out in the well stocked basement playing. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed cooking in it. We will definitely be back and recommend it to our family and friends ! ! Thank you again Aggie....

What a great house! Cozy, clean, spacious and well equipped! We loved everything especially the kayacks. The kids loved the deer coming right up to the deck to say hello. The grown ups loved the screened porch and the deck for playing games and conversation. We can't wait till we can come again. Thank-you Aggie for making it one of our best vaca's.

Wonderful long weekend in June

Let me first say that the process of renting very simple. Everything was completed by email and there were no issues whatsoever. In fact, the first time I actually spoke to the owners was a 'welcoming' phone call when we arrived.

The house is very clean, nicely decorated and perfect for our 3 families (6 Adults and 2 infants). The deer in the house and outside (there are deer everywhere around the property!) was a big hit for the 2 year old. The kitchen was a great size with everything we needed and the living room was the perfect size for night games and conversation. The dining room table was perfect for the card games. Downstairs had a pool table, air hockey and ping pong; we only played ping pong, which was fun but didnt go downstairs much. There were also kayaks that we didnt use but will next time.
Grampa liked it so much he said he wants to do this again next year at the same house but stay longer to enjoy all the amenties of the Hideout.

Perfect location, perfect house, awesome time!

Great House

My stay at the Schmidt's house was great. My family and I enjoyed everything from the gas grill and deck to the playroom and the screen room. The house was in great shape and didn’t need any cleaning once we got there. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans dishes and silverware. Aggie was a pleasure. I had a couple of problems with planning the trip and she was very helpful and patient. My family and I will be renting their home again very soon. Thanks for everything Aggie.

"We stayed at the Hideout for three nights, and absolutely enjoyed our time at this cozy house! The description was accurate: the house is clean, well-maintained and literally has everything you need. The owner (Aggie) was a pleasure to deal with, courteous and efficient.
The community where house is located is a true gem: safe, quiet, and offers lots of activities (pool, tennis, lake, deer watching, ). If however, you prefer staying indoors, billiard and table tennis, wii and air hockey await for you downstairs.
All in all, I deff recommend this house, and we are planning to return there some time later in the year".
