A Lovely Place to get Married: Sunny Slope Farm has seen many a family wedding throughout its long life, and the tradition continues.
There have been small Spring weddings held in the library & large Summer & Autumn weddings held in the fields or on the lawn. In 2006 alone there were 2 weddings in the barn, with the doors thrown wide to views of the hayfield & the apple tree. Last June there was a wedding held in the upper field, with a reception in a tent in the hayfield under a full moon, & during the last three Augusts, weddings with tents & string bands set up on the front lawn.
We do not do wedding planning for you, but we are glad to pass along the information about rentals, caterers, etc, that other couples used.
There is a small extra charge (please see Rates Section) for a wedding or reception held at Sunny Slope Farm, but the folks who've gotten married here have found it much more convenient & less expensive to get married in the place they're staying for a few days (either before, after or both!).

We loved staying at Sunny Slope Farm!
It has everything we could possibly need. We had 7 adults and 1 child (3 years old) and we had so much space. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace at night in the library playing boardgames, making breakfast and all of us eating around the large living room table, relaxing in the hot tub, reading on the screened in porch, playing croquet on the huge lawns, etc, etc...
A couple things to note:
1. There are only 2 bathrooms (and only one with a tub) but we didn't have any trouble with that (but may have if we had more people).
2. If you have very young children you should be careful because there are 2 sets of steep stairs and lots of stuff they could get into. But the owners do have a child gate there to use and you can limit access to the second stairs. If worked out just fine for us with our little one.
The house is beautiful (even better than the pictures). We loved it!! And we will definitely return!
"Home for the Holidays", was the feeling we all had at Sunnyslope Farm. The bonus was we had lots of snow! Great skiing at Gunstock and family time at the farm. As always the house was perfect as was your hospitality. Will try to come up in the summer and enbjoy all of the farm and area. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING. The Masse Clan of CT, DE and KY.
Thank you so much for allowing us to take over Sunny Slope over Columbus Day weekend. It providing the perfect spot for our NH Farm Wedding Weekend bonanza!
I wanted to thank you on behalf of myself and all of my friends who stayed at sunny slope this past bike week.It was so great to have all the amenities, especially a fully applianced kitchen with all the pots and pans bakeware etc, (as I always get stuck cooking) I can't even begin to describe how comfortable we all were, so nice to come back home and I mean HOME from a day of riding. To sit down by a fire on the porch have a great family style meal together and hop in the hot tub to relax. We all loved it and I can't wait to do it next year. Thanks so much.
we'll see you in June of "09".
It was the perfect Christmas at Sunnyslope Farm, even without any snow! It was ideal for our group with 18 for dinner on Christmas Eve. The house, location, amenities and overall charm far exceeded our expectations. We have rented many a place for vacation, and thats what they were just a rental...Not Sunnyslope Farm. The house is out of an old movie or a New England postcard with lots of charm, character, history and warmth, thank you for the touches of Christmas throughout! With its many rooms and cozy areas there was plenty of "space" for everyone(inside and out) and ooooh lets not forget to mention the feather bedding, wonderful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it highly to anyone. THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AND SHARING YOUR HOME.

Our family was so delighted that we discovered Sunny Slope Farm. Although we have been camping for years at a campsite next to Lake Winnipesauke, we never imagined that we could be so much more comfortable and have so much fun just a few minutes away at Sunny Slope!
You have done a wonderful job of maintaining the warmth, comfort, & fascination of your family home with its rich and inspiring multi-generational history. For all 3 generations of our family, there was something especially inviting and appealing at Sunny Slope. We really appreciate your warm hospitality and hope to visit with you again next year!
