Each bedroom (except the loft) features a color TV and DVD player. The extended cable system includes HBO, Showtime and Music Channels. Our extensive family-oriented video library of over 100 family-oriented movies (40-50 for children) will entertain your family after you've finished skiing, swimming or boating. You'll also find a wide selection of child/adult games, puzzles, and children's books from which to choose. Relaxing in the community's newly renovated indoor heated year-round swimming pool is also a great way to end a fun-filled day in any season!!
POOL UPDATE: During the winter, the indoor pool is open at no charge on weekends from approximately 10 am to 9:30 pm. For renters looking to book midweek, please let us know with your initial inquiry whether you will want to use the pool so we can make arrangements with the pool service. The midweek pool fee until the Memorial Day weekend is $25/day. There is no charge from then through the Labor Day weekend.
Sleeping: 1 Queen bed in Master Bedroom, 1 Queen bed in Bedroom #2, bunkroom w/four singles, loft w/daybed + trundle (sleeps 2 singles). Legal maximum is 10. Bunks are not intended for adult weight and size.
Since cell phones are the order of the day, we don't offer in-home phone service. Instead, we pass on the savings to you. You can use our free, high speed wireless internet to stay connected with work and friends. Because of our mountain location, temperatures and humidity are low year-round, even in the middle of the summer, so this home features ceiling fans in every room to augment our stand-alone AC unit (summer only) Don't worry--you'll stay plenty cool and very warm in the winter!
You'll only need clothes,toiletries/towels, food (there's a full-service Shop n' Save grocery less than one mile away and a Walmart Super Center in Oakland, about 9 miles away) bed linens** and recreational items, including pool toys. (**Can you toss your own bed linens in the car? We thought so. We pass the savings on to you.) All paper towels, napkins, trashbags, toilet paper, laundry soap, dishwashing and other cleaning supplies are supplied for you.
Additional activities include pontoon boat tours, paintball, skateboarding, State Park Discovery Center (with plenty of children's activities),and more. You're within 1/8 mile walking distance of Bill's Marina where you can rent boats. There is community access to the lake for swimming from the community owned waterfront across Deep Creek Drive. The whitewater rafting course has opened on the top of Marsh Mountain--it's .3 mile long--you can kayak, raft, picnic, etc. There are guided rafting trips down the course and children can go, too, though you'll need to check the age/height/weight restrictions.
Open Year-Round, the WISP MOUNTAIN ROLLER COASTER!! This two-seater, 3,500 ft cross between alpine slide and roller coaster is one of only 4 mountain coasters in the US. You can ride solo or with another, regulate your speed up to 26 mph, and enjoy fantastic mountain views....also now available at Wisp: guided Mountain Buggy Rides and a great zip line!!

Reserving now through March, 2014 - per the calendar, we fill well in advance --Payment in full is required for weekends, mid-week, or stays less than a week in length. 50% deposit with reservation agreement for week-long stays with balance due one month prior to arrival.
