Cape Royale Resort is on the western shores of Lake Livingston within the Sam Houston National Forest in Texas hill country 70 miles north of Houston Intercontinental Airport with marina, pool, tennis, club house, and 18 hole golf course bordering the lake. 24 hour manned security entrance leads to Cape Royale Resort. The house built in 1998, is brick with vaulted ceiling Great Room and large windows viewing Royale Greens Park and the Lake. Sandy beach is part of the park. This is a Woodlands development. A Master Suite is upstairs with Guest bedroom down and third bedroom is a TV/movie room. The home is adjacent to Royale Greens Park offering outdoor green space for games, sports, fishing and picnicking. The Marina is within the Cape Royale with launch, supply store, gas, slip rentals and facilities. Call the Cape Royale Golf Course for tee time. The quaint San Jacinto County seat of Coldspring is three miles away and offers shops, and restaurants. Call or email for availability

Guest Capacity: Four (4) persons maximum: This cozy home has sleeping, dining and seating capacity for up to four (4) persons. Gate House access to Cape Royale Resort for this property is limited to four persons.

The Cape Royale location has a three night minimum visit.

Nearby Coldspring offers antique shops, restaurants, historic church and courthouse. One plus hours to all Houston cultural and sports events, museums, shopping, and night life. Arts and crafts market each fourth Saturday in the historic town square. Lone Star Trail and Big Creek Scenic Trail nearby within the Sam Houston National Forest. Wolf Creek Park, Lake Livingston State Park and Double Lake Park nearby.

This newer vacation home will accommodate up to four persons. Call or email for availability, reservations are by Master calendar. The site calendar is not maintained. Advance notice is required to schedule housekeeping, process an agreement, and provide Cape Royale Gate Security access.

National Parks with access for hiking, mountain biking, and fishing. Royale Greens Park has as small sandy beach for swimming, picnic facilities, volleyball, horseshoes, green space and restrooms. Cape Royale Golf Course is a beautiful hilly course with driving range. There are year round tournaments. New management has completed renovation of the Golf Club house with food service and shop. The golf course has receive may improvements and is in very good condition. The home has games, movies, music CDs, books and magazines. There is a fireplace for cooler weather. The many tall windows provide great natural views and lots of natural light. This is a special location.

My Husband, sister in law, brother in law and I rented this beautiful home on Lake Livingston in 2005 for 2 months... it's a quiet community with everything you could want, pool, exercise room, clubhouse, marina, golf course. The accomodations had everything you could need. Close to town for last minute grocery shopping and not that far to anything else you wanted to see. Houston was about a 45 minute drive. It was across the street from a beautiful park area too...

fantastic. we love this place, Greg showed great southern hospitality. Very secluded & peaceful yet not far to towns that had everything we needed. We will stay here again when we are in the area!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The place is so cozy and all you need is there for your comfort...the deer greet you everyday and the squirrels run around to play. Awwww...the birds are awesome and wow the fish really bite across the street at the park..if you want comfort and cozy this is the place! Greg is awesome and ensures all is ready for your visit....

So quiet. Waking up at sunrise, seeing 5 deer strolling across the front yard. Took my dogs out for their morning bizness, and being city pups, they had no idea what these huge animals were. I suppose they thought...They sure grow the dogs big here in the country!

The house is immaculate. Greg is incredibly generous and was genuinely concerned that we enjoyed our stay. Even provided a nice gift basket for us upon arrival. We will definitely rent it again. Soon!

Wow!! What a great getaway!!!

This property exceeded our expectations. Since this was the first time we rented a Vacation Rental we were not too sure what to expect. We thought that perhaps what we read online might not really be what you get. We were wrong. This home has everything (and more) you need for a very comfortable stay. The home and its amenities were all in excellent condition. The owner was wonderful to work with. Our grandchildren loved going to the pool in the morning and across the street to the lake in the early evening. They were thrilled to see 9 deer one evening. We look forward to staying here again!!
