All bedrooms are spacious and the house is decorated in the soft colours of the Donegal landscape: greens and blues, grey and heather. There is a window seat in the upstairs bedroom, which is a very inviting place to enjoy the ever-changing sea view below. Having 2 separate lounge areas makes Fairview House stand out from other 3 or 4 bedroom properties. The upstairs games room is a fantastic space for spreading out and providing entertainment and relaxation for your group. There is free wifi.

Please note: a 5th single bedroom (upstairs) can be used if needed, bringing maximum occupancy up to 10. Also, Fairview House is a non-smoking home and due to allergies, not suitable for pets.

Swimming and spa pampering are available at the nearby Redcastle Hotel. There is a very interesting local history museum at Doagh Island, which is well worth a visit. From Buncrana, you can take the ferry across to Rathmullan and explore that part of Donegal. Across Lough Foyle into Northern Ireland, the Giant's Causeway (a World Heritage Site) the famous Bushmills Distillery and the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge make a fantastic day out from Fairview House. Easily accessible to both Derry and Letterkenny, you can sample fine dining and night life in both cities and visit museums and galleries. Check out the events at the Millenium Forum in Derry for music and drama. Explore all of the beautiful northwest of Ireland, where there's history to discover, areas of outstanding natural beauty to enjoy and a culture that is just about as warm and welcoming as they come.

A non-refundable deposit of £100/€100 secures your booking, with the balance due 6 weeks before arrival. Discounts available for 2, 3 or 4 week bookings. Discounts for smaller groups of 2-3. Additional charges for groups of 6-9.

Security/damages deposit of £150/€200 paid in cash on check in. Electric (metered) deducted from this deposit. Remainder returned by cheque within 1 week of departure if house left in tidy state, no heavy-duty cleaning or extra laundry required and nothing damaged.
