Winter::
This is a great spot because you can walk right over to Mount Cranmore with your skis or for that matter, ski right on over. The kids can slide down the small hill at the back of the house. Mount Attitash is just 15 minutes up the road. Also it is hardly a five minute walk to the giant health club with indoor pool, tennis etc. At the end of the day, you can walk right down to Horsefeathers restaurant and pub for refreshments and good food, not to mention a number of other restaurants and watering holes in proximity.
Major food shopping is 5 minutes down the road at Hannaford's.
Summer, Autumn, Spring golfing.:
For you golfers this is a great location as we have a pitch and putt course around our 1 3/4 acre property. The nearest golf course is barely 5 minutes away by the North Conway train station and is called Hale's location golf course. Their phone number is 603-356-2140. The Eagle mountain house is 15 minutes away in Glen and offers 9 holes of golf with stunning views of the White mountains. Their phone number is 603-383-9111. Also nearby in Jackson is the Wentworth golf club 18 hole course which is open to the public. their number is 603-383-9841.
The creme de la creme golf course is the Mount Washington golf course with its stunning views of Mount Washington and the surrounding peaks. Located in Bretton woods about 35 minutes from the house, this golf course is awesome! their number is 603-278-8967.
Needless to say there are other golf courses in the area so there are numerous choices.
Summer fun for the whole family::
Enjoy one of the largest yards in the area for family gatherings and reunions, big BBQs, and lots of room for the kids to play.
The large, screened porch is a relaxing spot for chit-chat, reading and what-not.
