This modern cottage is located on the shore of the beautiful Arrow Lakes (only 1/2 mile from the new Halcyon Hotsprings world class spa), in the West Kootenay District of South Central British Columbia, Canada, near Nakusp. As well as a spectacular view from this cozy 1300 sq. ft. cottage you can have, with the touch of a button, one of your decks open to expose a 6 person hot tub, fed with a continuous flow of natural hot spring mineral water. 'One of a kind.' Open year-round.

Double Booked! And Construction!

I loved the place. It was beautiful! My issue is with the construction that was on going next store the whole time I was there! I loved the place so much that I booked right away for the following year at the same time (figured the building would be done). Then I get a email a few months later saying, "sorry double booked!" Still very disappoint as you can tell by this review! No discount offered for the on noise the whole time. And then I get notice months later and had to attemp to fine another rental! Hard to find during the festival!

Harmony Hot Spring Cottage - near Nakusp

The house was VERY well equipped with everything that you could want or need and that was fantastic as the town of Nakusp was a long drive away. You could not just "pop" into town if you forgot something. We were a little disappointed that there was no beach access as on teh photo it looked as if the beach was right there. The only thing I could find a fault with was the fact that there was never any hot water in the showers, no matter what time of day we showered or how long we left it running, it never got hot.
The place was very clean and tidy and in a quiet rural area. I think there should be a recycling bin there as there was nowhere to put recycling at all.

I had a wonderful time visiting this cottage for my 2 night stay. We were wanting to go to the new Revelstoke Mountain Ski Resort in Revelstoke which was only about an hour away. The hotspring pool was a nice relaxing treat after a long day on the hill. The cottage was very big, clean and roomy. It can comfortably accomodate 8 to 10 people. The cottage was stocked with everything that you need except for food of course, but did have basic things in the pantry like oil, sugar, salt etc. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway.
