Looking for a peaceful setting to relax and unwind? Look no further. This charming cottage has privacy that is hard to find in many vacation spots. Located on 13 privately owned acres, it is shared only with the owners. The cottage is surrounded by woods, but does have a nice sized yard for picnicking, games, etc. The house itself has one bedroom downstairs with a queen-sized bed, and a cozy sleeping loft with one double bed and two twin beds. Tile and hardwood floors and nice woodwork combined with comfortable furnishing make this cottage homey and appealing. A full-sized bathroom with a tub / shower and soft towels care for your bathing needs. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking should you choose to eat in. A wood stove with glass doors allows you to relax by firelight during winter months.

The cottage, although in a rural location, is near all the major attractions the region has to offer. Situated on the edge of the 70,000 acre Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, there are many outdoor activities, such as hiking, biking, canoeing, rock climbing and ranger guided activities. The major ski areas of the Poconos are close by, as are quality golf courses, fine antiquing, good dining, and family activities. A mere 15 minute drive away is the recently opened Mountain Laurel Center for Performing Arts. It offers concerts in jazz, blues, symphonic and classical music as well as ballet. Shawnee Ski Area offers a full schedule of fall events such as: PRCA rodeo, hot air balloon festival, lumberjack festival & Oktoberfest, and country music concerts, all within 2 miles of the cottage.

  • Rates are based on double occupancy - $10/night extra for each guest over 12 years old
    $100 Security Deposit is required to hold your reservation. Will be refunded with no damages or extensive cleaning to the cottage.
    Full rental fee due at check-in (cash or check only)
    Cancellation policy: Notice of intent to cancel your reservation must be made one week before your arrival date. Any cancellations made within a week from arrival will result in loss of deposit.
