"I want to thank you again for your hospitality over the last week.
We had an absolutely great time. The property was spectacular and,
without question, the nicest place we've ever stayed. You guys were
friendly, responsive and helpful and we thank you very much for your
hospitality. We will contact you over the next several months to
arrange a winter visit. Thank you again, and we will be referring
friends and relatives your way."
We stayed here in this large home with several families and young kids the week after Xmas. Good floor plan with bedrooms having adjacent bathrooms, the steam room, hot tub and sauna perfect after a day on the mountains, and the pool table for evening fun. The kids attended Creekside ski camp and the house is conveniently a 7-10 minute drive from Whistler village and Creekside and we saw quite a few taxis in front of our street so if you don't have a car, the drive to town shouldn't cost that much. You can't get much closer to Whistler village than Blueberry Hill where the house is located. House stocked with lots of wood for cozy fires in the living room and master bedroom. We spent a lot of time around the kitchen and breakfast bar area. Peter the manager is very pleasant to deal with. Only negatives were the furniture was a little old - the dining chairs were not comfortable (they're very low seats and a seat cushion is mandatory), the living room sofa was old and dusty (we looked under the cushions looking for a lost tablet and think the cleaners should do a thorough job of vacuuming/dusting), the stereo system badly needs an update. Peter was nice enough to bring by a set of portable speakers as the house speakers were blown out before we arrived and luckily we asked some of the guests to bring their own speakers. While we aren't TV junkies by any means, to satisfy some of the guests some of the time, I'd suggest getting more cable channels than the basic package. Our house party also cooked a lot and we found the kitchen had just enough of the basics to cook and serve a large party of 14 (or more with guests over for NYE.) A great house, easy to live in and move around without feeling crowded or stepping on other people's space.
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful log home. We strongly recommend it for those who want a quiet beautiful location in Whistler.
Great home base for multiple families. We had 3 families, 7 kids in total and it fit us comfortably. Less than 5 minutes to slopes. Beautiful log home. Kitchen and bathrooms are perfectly functional, but a little dated. Would happily return.
This log cabin defies the photographs currently available. It is a very large open space log cabin with massive log beams and posts and a huge stone fire place to set the ambiance. The bedrooms are very nice and spacious - all with adjacent bathrooms. There is lots of space for everyone to escape to and the rooms are pretty well sound proofed. The amenities are well equipped - the steam room, sauna and hot tub are welcome assets. The pool table and darts were enjoyable evening activities as well. Peter the property manager was incredibly conscientious and went out of his way to insure we had everything we needed and everything was working well. This is a great rental for an extended family or for several families. We would rent again for sure.
A great log house with lots of room - it has a real lodge like feel. The description and photos were accurate and the location was great. The house was very clean and the resort company was very helpful. There were a couple of maintenance issues (a pane of cracked glass and a loose railing) but they were not a big deal for us. The house is on a quiet dead-end street with access to the valley trail, making it really easy to cycle into the village and to the lakes. We would definitely rent again, and happily recommend it to others.
Great house for a large family gathering. Great ambiance, nice location, the bedrooms are a good size. the downside...the cleaning before we arrived was not great. One bedroom, the sheets weren't changed and we had to do laundry before we could use the bed, there was someones clothing left in the drawers. One bed had no sheets, good thing we brought a sleeping bag. We moved the sofa in the living room and it was very dirty underneath. The carpets are terribly stained and smell.
