Newly renovated one bedroom apartment for two

L’atelier is a one-bedroom apartment located in the heart of Antibes on a quiet pedestrian street with accommodations for two guests.

We have just finished major renovations and have updated the apartment to include all modern conveniences while maintaining the flavour of the building with high vaulted arched ceilings, cement tiles, and wide-planked oak parquet floors. We have designed the space to have the feel of a French artist workshop but with a very comfortable and inviting environment.

The beds are fitted with comfy mattresses, crisp, white linens, and plush pillows for a restful sleep during your holiday. The bed can be configured to one king-sized bed or two twin beds. The apartment is equipped with reversible air conditioning and radiators.

The apartment is ideal for a couple or two friends travelling to Antibes that want a well appointed and conveniently located apartment in the centre of the old town. No car needed to enjoy all of the activities in and around Antibes. The apartment is minutes from the Provençal market, Antibes’ restaurants and bars, and the beaches.

Antibes-rental chose to focus on the medieval village of Antibes for our holiday rental properties as the town has maintained its historic character with charming cobbled-stone streets. Antibes also has beautiful beaches, a famous Provençal farmers market, and fantastic restaurants and cafés. The village is conveniently located 20 minutes from Nice International Airport (Cote d'Azur Airport) and has convenient train access to points throughout the region. Guests do not need a car to enjoy an amazing holiday.

INTIMATE AND ELEGANT

L'Atelier provided a perfect place for us to escape to. It's an elegantly appointed, intimate hideaway, and Tom & Paul are very thoughtful and welcoming hosts.

As described in the listing, this apartment evokes an artist's studio, and it's the small design touches make it feel like no mere vacation rental. Everything for a fully relaxing break is provided: there is a fully functional kitchen, dependable WiFi, espresso machine and tea making facilities, air conditioning and plenty of power outlets. The bedroom, at the back of the apartment, is not only fitted with a very comfortable bed, but was also very peaceful during our stay, since L'Atelier is tucked away in a quiet side street just off one of the main squares in old Antibes. There is ample closet space to hang clothes. The attention to detail - we were particularly struck by the beautiful tiles - round out the feeling of elegance. We found it especially thoughtful that beach towels were right there so all we had to do was grab them and walk to the beach!

Although there is paid parking a short walk away, we found we really didn't need the car we'd rented since everything in old Antibes - the Provencal market, the bakeries, the restaurants, the surprisingly lovely city beach, the Picasso museum - is easily within walking distance.

We would enthusiastically recommend L'Atelier, and look forward to returning!

A STUNNING APARTMENT IN A GREAT LOCATION!

L'Atelier is a beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean apartment with every need thoughtfully catered for. We were so impressed with the well stocked welcome basket, fresh cut flowers and the trouble Tom and Paul had taken to include details of local amenities, restaurants, travel advice plus information on how to use the facilities in the property.

We received excellent customer service from the time we booked the holiday to the very warm welcome on arrival.

Antibes is a beautiful town with lots to see and do with excellent train links to some wonderful places - we will definitely return and will definitely recommend to friends and relatives.

ANTIBES AS WE'VE ALWAYS IMAGINED

From the moment that one of the staff greeted us in the small square to personally saying goodbye on the last day, our stay here was wonderful. Our hosts had looked after everything up until the last detail- from the simple, rustic and stylish decor laced with well chosen artwork and L'Occitane amenities, to the well-stocked welcome basket and bottle of Rosé. The lighting- always an issue with rentals-was perfect, with everything on dimmers, and they even provided a wonderful selection of magazines, books and literature- all connected to the Côte d'Azur. The apartment was newly renovated and everything functioned perfectly. Not to mention that the location of the apartment was superb, around the corner from some great restaurants, shops, a supermarket, the produce and food market and the Musée Picasso. The beautiful beaches were a walking distance away or a short trolley ride. Our hosts also provided a list of tips for eating, shopping and markets. There was also a selection of DVDs in the apartment and the clock radio accommodated our iPhone for listening to our own music. One of their staff was always available for a problem or a question... The only problem was that our stay was too short. Next year we are doing 2 weeks! Thanks guys!

L’Atelier provides the perfect setting to enjoy the quaint cobbled streets, casual cafés and glamorous beaches of the French Rivera.

Plage de la Gravette is located five minutes from the apartment. Antibes also boasts several private beaches with casual restaurants and beach chairs. We recommend Royal Beach on Salis Beach. Visitors should also explore the larger beaches at Juan Les Pins, on the opposite side of the Cap d'Antibes, as well as its many restaurants and speciality shops.

Antibes is well-known for its Provencal market. Socca, olives, cheeses, flowers, sausages, jams, seafood, and fresh fruits, meats, and seafood are among some of the regional specialities on offer.
