This beautiful summer retreat has everything that a beach house must have. Including the following: 400 square feet of decks for cookouts, nearby South Shore/Goose-wing Beaches (A Nature Conservancy beach) less than a mile, the Town Commons approx. 1 mile. Enjoy the 2-acre yard or simply pick one of three decks to lounge on, in or out of the sun. The outside bath house with shower, allows you to refresh after your beach experience. There is cable TV. There are 3 bedrooms with 2 queen beds in (1st) two brs and a (double and 2 twins in the 3rd br).

Swimming at several beaches (South Shore Beach is a few minutes away and Horseneck Beach in nearby Westport is an easy drive). Little Compton itself is an undiscovered gem. Fishing off Sakonnet point, boating, surfing, cycling on quiet country roads, shopping, museums, and whale watching. There are several fine local restaurants such as Crowthers, Bittersweet Farm, The Back Eddy. Other areas of interest are the Sakonnet vineyards for sumptuous wine, Newport, museums (whaling museum in New Bedford, Battleship Cove in Fall River with the USS Massachusetts and the Kennedy destroyer). Fresh seafood and vegetables from local farms.

We have been renting in Little Compton for the past 5 years. Last year was our first at this property and it was so good we are returning again this year. The description is acurate and the pictures help you get a sense of this home. It was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach, close enough to run back for lunch or naps if you have little ones. But, town was close enough to bike to. There is a great pizza shop with a playground across the street. We would highly recommend this rental propery:)
