Newly renovated home at the end of a quiet shorefront road. Views from house of Hancock Point, Frenchman Bay and Porcupine Islands. Walk 100 yards through private right of way to ocean's edge, deepwater frontage. Beach has flat ledges, for picnics and sunbathing, and stunning view of Mount Desert Island. Excellent for kayaking, sailing or boating. House has new appliances, slate floors, and new carpeting and bedding throughout. 20 minute walk along country road or 30 minutes along the shore to Marlboro Beach and Raccoon Cove.

A little slice of heaven

This home rental was the perfect solution to our multi-family "let's go on a road trip" vacation. The grounds were beautiful. Everything was neat and tidy. There were enough bathrooms for everyone and the big plus? Huge closets complete with a washer dryer in the basement. Everything you need is in the house (from BBQ tongs to wood logs to make smores). Did I mention that the area was beautiful? I would definitely rent this home again.

Awesome Vacation!

We just finished a terrific vacation in Maine - everything was absolutely perfect. The house is immaculately kept, and the location simply cannot be beat. We were able to to a little of everything, including kayaking, hiking, and a couple of trips into Acadia and Bar Harbor.

It's close enough to everything to be convenient, but well away from the hustle and bustle.The house was a great place to unwind after a busy day, and for a day of relaxing while reading books and watching the ocean. The ping-pong table was heavily used during the week (I would like to point out my total domination over the kids during the tournaments!).

Thanks for a great week, and we hope to be back!

Great Stay!

Our stay were was fantastic! The house was clean and and well setup for use. We had two families - 4 adults and 4 kids and the four bedrooms worked perfectly. There was plenty of dishes and the table large enough for us to use. Having a dishwasher and clothes washer was a big plus. The location was great, extremely quiet, felt like we were the only ones there, had direct access to the shore where the kids spent hours finding crabs, starfish and even a lobster! Great location to visit Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park from. Get all the benefits of going to the sights without having to stay in the middle of it. The owers were very friendly and helpful. Booking was easy and owner was very responsive to any communications.
Finding a ping-pong table in the basement was a bonus! Have already recommended the place to our friends.

Excellent house for family vacation in Maine

We just came back from our vacation Maine. It was wonderful! The house is very well maintained, clean and spacious. The ocean view from the front window is stunning. The house is on a quiet street yet close to many local attractions: Acadia National park, Winter Harbor, Lamoine State Park (good spot for fishing!)...

The owners of property are very kind and generous. They always keep the house in perfect condition and provided us many information. We would definitely stay there again!

To sum it up in a few words, great view,really nice house layout. also ping pong in basement used alot thanks again. Don't want to say to much,it might get rented too quickly next time. Rich
