A unique 1920's cottage situated on one of Maine's most beautiful sand beaches. Six miles to either Searsport or Bucksport and just 40 minutes to Camden, Acadia or Bangor. The cottage was completely renovated in 2001, with all new appliances, painted wooden floors, fieldstone fireplace, and wainscoting throughout. Back deck for barbecuing, french doors that open out on to the beach, an open and airy kitchen/dining area. A well appointed bath area with an antique claw foot tub and two bedrooms. This unique property can only be accessed by walking 200 ft. across beach or by descending (at your own risk) the 89 step stairway. This is a premiere property for spring, summer and fall retreat. Pets allowed with non-refundable deposit.

The owners of the cottage thought of the renters every need for comfort. The setting is tranquil and relaxation is immediate, I would suggest not to book one week( it goes by too fast) book two.
