This property shares the pool with VRBO 486772, which is a new second floor to VRBO 110068. This private, 2200 square foot house, with 650 square foot guest house, is located 1 mile from a 5 mile long beach. It is muy tranquillo with a beautiful view of the beach and a beautiful tropical garden, where Howler Monkeys come right up to the porch. A new, 39 foot pool with patio looks over the beach view. There is beach combing, surfing, guided sport fishing and incredible bird watching nearby. One, two or four-day beach horseback riding to Mal Pais is easy to arrange. Many excellent, inexpensive restaurants are nearby.
This house is situated in the middle of the jungle with many birds. The new pool is linked to the new patio for best enjoyment of the great weather. The pool provides complete privacy for lounging around. You can watch the clouds of parrots eating the palm seed from the pool.
The main house is quite open to the ocean breezes and cooled by multiple fans. The large porch provides protected, outside tropical living in any weather. This is where you live watching the wildlife and ocean view cooled by the ocean breezes.
The garden has a large number of flowers that make wonderful arrangements. There are oranges, limes, papaya, grapefruit, mangos, avocados, guanabana and starfruit close to the house, waiting to be picked for breakfast.
This house is located in a beautiful jungle close to the beach. It is in a very quite area, muy tranquilo. The locals are very nice and helpful. This is the most relaxing place I have ever been.
I almost forgot!!!!! Please rent or take a 4x4 vehicle other wise it will be to difficult to get to. There are 2 ways to get there take the Jicaral way the other one u have to cross like 4 little rivers.
House was beautiful!!! I stayed in the first floor and had an amazing time! We were a large family of 10 and we were very comfortable, but bring your own blow out bed because the bed was damage... But over all Wayne and Minor were a great host! No Tv so for those Tv lovers don't expect it. Anyway who needs a tv with those views and the wonderful pool over looking the ocean?!?! The rooms were really large and that was a plus! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. I wished I could of stayed there for longer.
Considering that March is the hottest time of year (97) with no air conditioning it wasn't too bad. The pool is a life saver, great pool. We had the whole house and casita and the casita was not cleaned. No towels,no toilet paper, and dirty. The hot water in the main bathroom did not exist and it seemed that it ihadn't for awhile. No internet for a few days and no phone at all. Caretaker not on top of things. Bought a standing fan for the house, hope it is still there for the next guests. Grandkids are from Arizona and.oved every minute in the ocean. Beautiful area and people very nice.
"Casa De Wayne" was: relaxing, refreshing, calming, and provided that much needed get away. The property provided all the necessities and Wayne went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and knowledgeable about the area prior to arrival. This property is perfect if you want to truly "get away" from all types of comercial activity and immerse yourself in "la pura vida." I do hope to rent from Wayne again as this was a most memorable trip with good friends and good times.
This was our first trip to Costa Rica, and we loved it! Wayne's place is off the beaten path, and yet, perfectly placed for exploration in the Nicoya peninsula. San Francisco de Coyote is a quick 3 km from the house, so groceries are very close by. Good restaurants (3-4) within the 3 km radius, and more 20-30 min from the house.
The house has an open floor plan, most of your time will be spent on the large veranda area or by the pool rancho. You wake up "naturally", with the slowly increasing brightness of the sun, sit on the veranda looking over the flora and fauna to the ocean, sipping your drink of choice. Stay at the house or go on a day trip, return, and watch the sunset. Life slows down to a wonderfully relaxing pace once you are here.
Thank you Wayne! How's the water slide plan from the second floor coming along?! (it was a suggestion we had for him)
We have travelled throughout Costa Rica and rented numerous homes & cabinas. This home was in the top 3!!! Absolutely fantastic! We will definately be back and have already recommended to friends who are hoping to go to Costa Rica. Thank you Wayne!!
Visiting Turtle rescue camp 4 kilometers away.
Visiting the Karen Morgenson nature area.
Ziplining at Mal Pais or Punta Islita
Drive on the beach on road to Mal Pais, which is the best road in Costa Rica since it is resurfaced twice a day.
