Dolphin Retreat is a newly remodeled 3000 sq ft oceanfront house located 5 minutes from Historic St. Augustine and 15 minutes from Ponte Vedra. It sits atop a high dune and has a private dune walkover to a beautiful white sandy beach. The house has 6 bedrooms with 2 king, 2 queen, and 6 twin beds, and has 4 1/2 baths. The master bedroom suite has a private bath, a satellite TV/DVD/VCR and gorgeous ocean views. Full kitchen and dining room with sliders onto private oceanfront deck equipped with a gas grill. Two living rooms, one on each floor, have ocean views and satellite TV/DVD/VCR. Wireless high speed internet is offered as a free service. Brand new kitchen with Granite countertops, maple cabinets and stainless steel appliances add elegance to this beautiful home! There is new Italian tile throughout the house and new Master bedroom furniture. This home is unique not only in it's size but in it's beauty and charm.

There are 2 floors. The ground floor has a den with a TV and a game table (card games provided), a screened porch, a full bath with a tub, and 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed, and the other has 2 sets of bunk beds that sleep four people. There is also an attached 2 car garage on that floor. The top floor has The living room, dining room, and kitchen all open to each other and to the large oceanside porch that is 55 feet long. The master bedroom (king bed) and bath occupy an oceanside corner of the house. The back of that floor has a long hallway leading to the 3 remaining bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Bedroom one has a queen bed and a day bed that opens to a queen bed (trundle). Bedroom two has a king bed. Bedroom 3 has 2 two twin beds. Bedroom 2 and 3 have their own 1/2 baths but share a shower.

I can't say enough wonderful things about the home, location, and the property manager we dealt with. My youngest sister graduated High school this year and my brother's girlfriend graduated from her masters program. We are spread out all over the country and we converged on this perfect oasis and just had the most relaxing time ever. The set up is perfect. Everyone had their own rooms/bathrooms and enjoyed fishing from the beach, kayaking, deep sea fishing, and grilling out. I have recommended this place to all my friends and will probably enjoy future family vacations here.

This house was extremely large and very well equipped(especially the kitchen). Our extended family of 11(8 adults and 3 children under 5) had plenty of room and everything we needed to have a great week. The house has 20 steps to a non crowded beach with an abundance of sea shells, St. Augustine is 5-10 minutes away. The view from the main living areas is complete ocean and fabulous.One aspect that could be improved is the unseen cleanliness (under the beds and couches). We only noticed this looking for childrens toys. We would not hesitate to rent this house again and hope to in the future.
All in all this was agreat experience.
