Relax in the hammocks, rope chair, or beach chairs (provided) at the lakefront, or head to Boothbay Harbor where you will find activities for the entire family! Hike at nearby Land Trust properties where you will find abundant wildlife sightings and pristine pathways. Take a sunset cruise in the harbor, enjoy the many seafood restaurants, take in live summer theater, go on a real Maine clambake, or just stay at our peaceful lakeside retreat for rest, relaxation, and a true 'get away from it all' vacation. Our beautiful home provides a spectacular view of the lake from the dining and living areas. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bedrooms are large and accommodating, and the peace and tranquility are unsurpassed!

The lake is an adventure that adults and children alike will enjoy. Hop in our canoe and paddle around, explore the many nooks and crannies of the lake and meet the family of loons that call the lake home. Fish from the dock, read a book, or just sit and enjoy the beautiful breeze that always blows across Knickerbocker. Our home is spacious, comfortable and just waiting for you and your family to enjoy!

NO PARTIES: Our home is NOT available for weddings, family reunions or large parties. We are located in a peaceful setting with friendly neighbors who enjoy the tranquility as much as we do. If you are looking for a 'party' house, we suggest you check other locations.

Just had a fantasic week at the house! Of all the towns we visited during our week, we were so happy by the location of this home. The kids enjoyed the canoe and catching bass in the lake as well as the aquarium and going out on lobster boat. We saw more whales in Boothbay than last year in Alaska not to mention at less than half the price. The house was immaculate and so very comfortable for two families. We enjoyed cooking lobsters and sitting on the deck looking out at the Lake. We had a fabulous week and look forward to coming back. This house offers everything we were looking for. Thanks again Lori!

My 4th trip to the Mystic, this time with my 4 sisters,
and as usual it was a wonderful week. The ladyslippers
were in full bloom and a loon made an appearance on
the lake, calling for a mate. Your house and location
are so perfect!

What a fabulous vacation!!! The weather was perfect as were the accommodations. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful lake .... from reading on the dock to watching the turtles and kayaking. And, when we wanted to enjoy Boothbay Harbor it was just minutes away. We hated to leave and are looking forward to definitely returning in the future.
