Good house for large groups

I'll start with the issues we had with this property, but there is a lot of good things to say too. The pictures and description of this house are misleading. Maybe the main kitchen/great room area had a new floor put in within a few years, but besides for that, this house is not renovated at all. It is an older house, albeit with some charm. Also, there are two houses very close by and the house is on the main road through town---although the pictures might lead you to believe it stands alone in a quiet setting. The nearby lake has "No Swimming" signs and is not anything special (it has a ton of algae as well). Lastly, the pictures of this house are quite old as the couches and carpets look like they have taken a beating.
Nevertheless, if you are with a large group of people (we were about 15), this house does offer a lot of beds and access to nearby sights. The kitchen/den area is large and good to hang out in. There is a cool little hot tub in the back yard. There is a brand new washer/dryer and plenty of parking.
I'll put the disclaimer out there that we can be a little "picky' with places we stay, but if you are the type who is just happy to have a bed and access to the nearby area, this house is for you. We really expected to be staying in a newly renovated home, this house is just not that. However, the owner was very nice and addressed our concerns accordingly. If this house got a little more TLC it would have a ton of potential!

Owner's Response: I am the owner of the Grateful Bed House and always look to improve my property. The pictures accurately depict the interior and exterior. I the living room and a family room the furniture is less than 5 years old, purchased at Raymour and Flannagan. The appliances, windows and electric have been updated within the last 5 years and the hot tub is two years old and we just purchased a new foosball table last week. I can't control the algaa in a public lake. I employ a house manager who lives accross the street that responds to any needs of the renter.
