Sleeps 3/4. 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor of a beautifully converted Victorian house. WiFi. Gorgeous garden with deck adds an exotic touch. Shops, bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Award winning Farmer's Market on a Sunday morning on Salusbury Road (other side of Queens Park). Portobello Market is 15 mins walk. Excellent transport links to all London airports and to central London.

It is a much loved apartment and it has a distinct artistic quality about it which extends to the fabulous garden. The garden is very beautiful and secluded, and exotic plants lend strong architectural shapes. It has a deck and three seating areas to tempt you out at any time of day or night. The garden can be illuminated at night time. Both bedrooms look out on the garden.

Best suited to one or two couples, or a couple with one or two children. The garden is pebbled and so is not suitable for very young children.

I have Tate Modern 'Guest Membership' for 4 people which you can use to go to any of the 'special' exhibitions in both the Tate Modern and Tate Britain, and you can also use the private member's cafe and bar which has an excellent outdoor terrace on the 6th floor overlooking the river and St. Paul's Cathedral. It's also a great way to avoid the queues in the other cafes.

There are public tennis courts and a pitch and putt course and a lovely children's playground in Queens Park which is about 3 minutes walk away.

Unser Aufenhalt in diesem Haus war vom ersten Moment an eine Wucht. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön, alles ist sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Besonders schön ist das große Schlafzimmer mit Blick in den üppigen Garten und auf die Terrasse. Alles ist neu renoviert und sehr sauber. Man merkt die persönliche Note der Hausbesitzerin und gerade dadurch fühlt man sich wie zuhause und nicht wie in einem anonymen, sterilen Hotel.
Die Lage und die Anbindung an die Innenstadt sind mehr als perfekt. Die unmittelbare Nachbarschaft ist voller Geschäfte, Restaurants und Leben, wobei das Haus selbst in einer ruhigen Nebenstraße liegt und so vom Straßenlärm absolut nichts zu bemerken ist.

A BRILLIANT BASE TO SEE LONDON FROM

From the moment you arrive you are enchanted by the apartment, it is in a great location - close enough to easily see the sights but suburban enough to experience 'real London life" great coffee shop down the street, fantastic Queens park for kids and the farmers markets at the other end of the street. Tube, overland and buses all within easy walking distance. The house is equipped with everything you need - it really is home away from home, the backyard is a bonus for those with kids or those wanting a quiet spot for a glass of wine after a day sightseeing.

Irene was fantastic, she answered all questions and was there to meet us on arrival, the Easter eggs she left for the kids were a wonderful surprise. I would definitely stay again and have already recommended the apartment to anyone I speak to.

I can totally confirm all the Irene's presentation details present on this web site. We are a family (myself, my wife, my 11 years daughter, and my 8 years son) staying in Irene's apartment from 6th August to 15 th August. The location is very good, the apartment is perfect (really there was all what we needed), very closely (1 minute walking) we found everything (Tesco supermarket, pub, fish and chips and so on). The overground station is 2 minutes walking (Kensal Rise) while the underground station (Queen's park) is 10 minutes walking. To get the centre of the city, we used very often the first station because also the overground service is very very good in terms of train frequency (it's pratically like the undreground service), changing at Willesden Junction for the undreground service (Bakerloo line). Moreover, before getting UK, i asked some details to Irene and she always was very polite and precise in her feedback to me. Really i can advice this location and solution to all. Bye.
