The Blue Heron, built in 2000, over 3000 square feet is open with neutral colors and hardwood floors throughout. It features large bedrooms, a baby alcove, tiled baths, a lg.two car garage, a large deck wraps around the back and side of the house with an outdoor shower and a balcony off of the master bedroom. The wooded lot is within 1.5 miles of the bay beaches and 1.2 miles from the ocean beaches. Great for family get together and for weddings! So far there have been two. Very private. You are in a peaceful setting and still can do all kinds of fun things.

Perfect House for Family Vacation

We've been staying at this house every summer for 2 weeks since 2001. Before that, we stayed at another of this owners rentals. The house is very spacious, and the open living room/dining area and kitchen lends itself to great family interaction. The large private deck lends itself to great grilling and entertaining. The owner is very responsive to a renters needs and goes out of her way to provide good customer service.
The location is convenient to great beaches (bay or ocean), both fine dining and family restaurants and great markets for fresh produce and seafood. It is not far from Provincetown which offers fun outings and shopping for adults and children.
We enjoy our stays here, look forward to many more and appreciate the extra attention to detail that we can always count on from the owner.

great house for a family rental

We stayed at the Blue Heron for a long weekend after Labor Day this year.

The house is well maintained and in very good condition.

We had eight people in the house and never felt crowded. There was plenty of room.

It was nice to have the four bedrooms on two different floors. The parents & children were on the first floor and the grandparents and aunt & uncle were upstairs.

This house is just off the main road but far enough in that road noise was not an issue.

The balcony off one of the upstairs bedrooms was a nice space.

The kitchen had all the supplies we needed. We even had dinner for 11 people, and had place settings for far more.
