We don’t want to leave! It’s been a wonderful little getaway! Cottontail Cottage is first class; it’s the first cabin that we’ve stayed in that wasn’t furnished with used stuff and hand-me-downs! Oh, what a wonderful week we spent here at Cottontail Cottage! We immediately felt at home. The fresh air, the natural sounds and the friendly people. That’s just like the countryside in Germany, where we grew up. On the days the sun was shining we went out for long hikes. We especially liked the Chatooga River. The Sandy Ford Area with Dick’s Creek Falls was our favorite. We didn’t care about the rainy days as long as we knew that we could come back home, take a hot shower, and cook a wonderful dinner. There is still a lot left we have to explore. Hopefully we will have the pleasure to return to Cottontail Cottage. Thorsten, Sandra & Sophia, Key

As fate would have it, we have had a memorable weekend at Cottontail Cottage. We experienced the incredible scenery, really amazing! It was also a treat to sit on the front porch and do nothing!
