Earls Court House Rental Photos and Description
4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, glowing flat situated close to Kensington High street
Jeepers, creepers – here’s a home that’ll have your peepers blinking in astonishment. Scarlet glows against grey, and the walls dance with butterflies. Fizzy as a bottle of pop, this is a home that’s as stylish as it is cheerful. Warwick Gardens was recently completely renovated, and now antiques and heirlooms sit alongside the highest spec interiors.
If you’re inspired to update your own look, Kensington High Street’s shops and restaurants are close by, or, go chase a frisbee in nearby Holland Park. With a fantastic location and a décor that’ll leave you beaming, this is one decision you can take with your eyes wide open.
Your hosts are a fascinating pair. She’s from the Middle East, while he’s a Peruvian photographer. They met in New York, and there’s a definite element of Manhattan loft funk in their gorgeous home.
Your hosts’ considerable creativity comes shining through from every corner of Warwick Gardens. The sitting room is full of verve and sunshine, and you’ll find traditional landscapes and contemporary photography in comfortable juxtaposition. The couch is snuggly, and in late afternoons, the dining table sits in a shimmering pool of light. There’s an industrial tinge to the ebony and ivory kitchen, and those who like to watch the chef at work can sit at the marble breakfast bar.
The softly luxurious master bedroom has a superking sized bed and a wildly decadent caramel his and hers ensuite. There are two bedrooms on the second floor, and two further bathrooms. Kids will love the dotty, Damian Hurst inspired dashes of pigment across their playroom, bedroom and ensuite, while the guest bedroom is touched with buttery-soft mocha.
Survey the scene
On sunny days, a visit to Holland Park is a must, then return to Kensington High Street for an ice cream and a cappuccino. Lovers of design will want to pay a visit to the Victoria and Albert museum, and from there, it’s not far to Knightsbridge. You’ve your pick of local cafes and restaurants, or, the tube from Earls Court to Piccadilly Circus takes twelve minutes.
