Bayswater Apartment Rental Photos and Description
3 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment close to Notting Hill and Hyde Park
This three bedroom, one bathroom home is simplicity itself. With its white and taupe colour scheme, angular wooden furniture and fuss-free appliances, Consort House is the perfect base from which to explore some of the finest areas of London which are right on your doorstep. Mooch through Hyde Park and marvel at the Serpentine Gallery, or wander the Bayswater Road into incomparable Mayfair. The transport links are excellent, here, as you neighbour central London and you’re just a stone’s throw from the nearest tube, so hop, skip and jump back home for a refined refresh before hitting the city again tomorrow.
Your host was drawn to the retro appeal of Consort House’s 60s exterior, which was designed by world famous British architect Owen Luder. And the home’s proximity to central London makes his business dealings a cinch.
So fresh and so clean
The perfect city base, inside Consort House all is comfort and ease. The dining table seats six for supper, and afterwards, retire to the cosy sitting room for a digestif or another glass of wine. When your guests leave, recline on the cosy taupe sofa and watch the flat-screen TV, or soak up the sounds of London from the paved balcony terrace. The minimal, white décor is complimented here and there by a whimsical flourish, such as the colour-pop cushions and chandelier. If you’re still feeling peckish, raid the fridge in the kitchen, surrounded by modern, chrome appliances and clean white units. Once weariness triumphs, take your pick of three, simple bedrooms, each finished with a pared-down colour palate and unpretentious furniture – there’s one twin, one single and a double.
Mainly on the plain
While it’s enviably close to Notting Hill, Hyde Park and Kensington, some of London’s most sought-after areas, Bayswater’s a charming destination in its own right, with rows and rows of attractive streets and garden squares lined with Victorian stucco terraces. Wander down to Queensway for a laid back meal or explore the regal Kensington Gardens. From Queensway underground station, reach Oxford Circus in a mere seven minutes.
