Marylebone Apartment Rental Photos and Description
1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, stylish apartment in a great Northwest London location
The purple rose of Marylebone
Not very long ago, Woody Allen’s singular artistic vision haled him to Bell Street, where he turned its sweetly quaint bookshop into a set for a film. Discussing, in cultured tones, matters of art, religion, and love, his intellectual characters often fret about their uncertain place in the universe. But, just up the road, is a home to set even the famously neurotic Allen at ease. Radiant white walls flecked with seductive red flourishes set the tone for a stirring stay, and, with some of the city’s finest attractions nearby, all you’re missing is the trademark jazz soundtrack as you stroll Marylebone’s romantic streets.
Husbands and wives
Like the stars of cinema, your hosts lead a globe-trotting lifestyle. Their work in finance takes them across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, while a passion for fitness, water sports, and their two lovely dogs certainly keeps them occupied in their spare time.
Interiors like these will have any director voicing unqualified approval. The sitting room, sweetly accented with splashes of crimson, will sweep you off your feet, so get ready to swoon into the snug embrace of the leather sofa, which can also be turned into a bed. Tuck into a cosy supper à deux at the gracious glass table beneath the languid gaze of two imaginatively painted roses – but not before you’ve grabbed a bottle of red from the kitchen. Here’s the hub of the home, with one wall painted the freshest red and brand new chrome appliances at every turn. At the day’s end, a bedroom of the most brilliant white beckons, featuring a king size bed, glossy white wardrobe, and wonderfully funky twin bedside tables. The bathroom is bright, modern, and, naturally, full of our White Company toiletries and delightfully fluffy towels.
Peep over your paperback to see if Naomi Watts or Anthony Hopkins still frequent that bookshop up the road, or pop into Lisson Gallery for contemporary art. Marylebone High Street is flanked with smart boutiques, artisan coffee shops, and enticing delicatessens, while Edgware Road's Middle Eastern cuisine is renowned. Wander the manicured gardens of Regent’s Park, picnic by the Serpentine, or embrace the buzz and bustle of Oxford Street – it’s ten minutes' walk. And to head further afield, you’ve two underground stations nearby.
