Photos and Description of the Mission Beach vacation condo rental Large 2 bedroom, 2 bath - sleeps 8 to 10

This is one of just two roomy units on beach side of Mission Beach. We have it set up for families with all age children or adults only. The condo seems like a separate home as it is one of the few condos with an attached garage. We are situated about 5 homes from the beach & can see & hear the surf from both balconies. In the evening (summer months) your family can enjoy the Sea World Fireworks from inside the unit. The condo is very open & light with skylights, etc. It is larger than most 2 bedrooms (approx 1600 sq feet). Upstairs features two balconies in which you can view the Pacific Ocean. One balcony has gas BBQ, table, beach chairs, etc. The living area has a queen & twin sofa beds. Upstairs has TV, DVD, CD & surround sound system. We have computer, printer with high speed Internet access.

5 minutes to Sea World, 15 minutes to Zoo, approx 30 minutes to Mexico, approx 30 minutes to Legoland. Walk to Belmont Park (5 blocks away), bike around Mission Bay (we provide bikes). We provide boogie boards, surfboard, skimmer, sand toys - walk to beach & come back & BBQ!

DVDs provided for guests of all ages (at least 30 to choose from) kitchen & dinette area are fully equipped - all small appliances, including blender, coffee maker, toaster, pots/pans & dishes. Downstairs features large master suite with king size bed & double size futon for extra guests. The bath is jacuzzi size tub & separate large shower. Two sinks in master bath. TV & DVD player in master bedroom. Bedroom #2 is furnished for either children or adults. A new double bunk bed with twin on top & trundle twin. This room also has computer, Internet, fax & printer.

Not on the beach but almost. Great set-up. Friendly neighbors. Have been visiting SD/Mission Beach for 25+ years, and this is the first VRBO property that we'll come back to. Sherry is a great hostess, and very easy to work with. Unit is very well stocked with towels, linens, utensils and even some beach toys.

My experience at Mission Beach

House was very close to beach and boardwalk the bikes and boogie boards laundry were truly a great asset to this house along with garage and garage opener, yet the rug was dirty throughout the house and the bunk beds were not safe for young children no pegs were found in holes that held the top bunk with the full size bottom bunk very dangerous especially with small children. The kitchen was fully stocked with all that anyone would need and the walk in closet had moderate hand towels, face cloths, bath towels etc. The bbq on the deck was great. With the cleaning of the rug and fixing of the bunks it is a great place to stay with children, did get rowdy at night both Fri and Sat yet the Red Sox and the Pats were on over the weeeked that I was there.
Owner's Response: As soon as the guest advised me of the problem with the bunk bed I had it professionally repaired. I will continue to check the bunk bed on a weekly basis. The carpet has also been cleaned. Joanne
