(Need a larger cabin or more than one cabin? Ask about our 'sister cabin', available for special groups and family reunions.)
Our cabin is a great place for a Winter retreat. We get frequent snowfalls (2 to 3 inches) and roads to the cabin are well maintained during the winter months.
Come relax and enjoy -- 'you won't want to go home!'

We rented your cabin for a short vacation trip. My husband just returned from being deployed, and this was a great way to reconnect, relax and enjoy each other. We all loved being outside. We had great weather all three days and were able to spend it outdoors. Our children loved exploring and going down by the creek. We caught several small fish and like you suggested in your book, went looking for worms for bait. Even with the water being cooler we still did our own version of tubing in the creek. We enjoyed dinner outside and campfires with smores. The hammock and hot tub were great too. The location of the cabin is nice. We enjoyed a trip down to Helen, GA. A cute town to visit. Between relaxing outside, enjoying the sounds of the creek, and your accommodation cabin, we really enjoyed our stay! Just what we needed after a deployment!!! Hooah Army! Ft. Bragg, NC
We stayed here for Christmas 2011 and it was definitely the best family vacation we have ever had!! The cabin was everything we had hope for and more!!! It was so peaceful and such a relaxing place. We were looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life and we found it. We made memories with our girls that they will never forget!! We will definitely be back in the future and cannot wait for that day to come!! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for peace & quiet for a family vacation or even for a romantic get-away!! We also fell in love with the town or Murphy! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Just a beautiful experience all around!! Thank you for allowing our family to enjoy your cabin.
This house sits in a beautiful valley. So very quiet and peaceful. House next door a little too close, but everything else was extremely wonderful. The creek sounds at night, the fireflies, so relaxing. Not to mention the hot tub and the hammock over the creek. We haa a great time, so did our poodle. Would definitely recommend this house to our friends and family. The owner is very nice and is there if you need anything. Thanks for the wonderful memories, we will be back!
Thank you for a wonderful stay, eventhough it was cut short by hurricane Irene. The cabin was spotless and well maintained! My daughter made strawberry ice cream, delicious!! Tried my hand at panning for gold I did find a few flakes and placed them in a bottle. But by accident my wife threw it out, there goes my early retirement! Did some horseback riding in Andrews. Spent the day in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Awesome drive on the Tail of the Dragon (twice), my kind of workout! My wife enjoyed just sitting on the deck reading while I relaxed in hammock enjoying a cold one or two. We will definitely return.
Wow, what a great weekend! My husband and I stayed here for three nights and it's such a great place to get away and unwind. The place is dog-friendly and the cabin is thoughtfully stocked with all the supplies you can think of. It was very clean and felt like a home away from home.
The little town of Murphy is quaint and the locals are friendly. I went horseback riding at Horseshoe Creek Riding Stables in Andrews, which is about 20 minutes from Murphy east down the highway. There is a welcome center where you can stop and get a map with all the local info.
We definitely want to return and since it's only 2 hours from Atlanta, a perfect drive. I highly recommend the stay.
