Keyzee Condo Vacation
Review Submitted: July 27, 2010

The condo at the Ocean Isles Fishing Village is a very cozy efficiency. It has everything you need to spend a week in paradise. All cooking utensils are included which is very convenient for the people that like to cook what they catch. I did have to purchase propane for the gas grill, so I hope the next vacationer enjoys it. The pool and waterfront setting is absolutely the best part of the entire complex, I just wish we were a little closer to it. Its not a far walk unless your carrying something, then it can get kind of tiring carrying fishing gear, kayaks, laundry, etc.. back and forth. Make sure you bring plenty of quarters if you’re planning on washing any clothes. The washers and dryers and located down by the pool and take only quarters with no change machine, and it cost three dollars to clean and dry one load of clothes. There are so many things to do during your stay that I probably will forget to list them all. During our stay we enjoyed going to No-name Key (just off of Big Pine Key) and see the Key Deer, the sunset celebration on Key West, stop at any of the snorkel guides to take a trip out to the reefs, kayak out of Big Pine Keys to the shallow flats (Beautiful water), Sombrero beach has a nice beach front, stop at Robbies to see the Tarpon jump out of the water, you can see the Dolphins at the Dolphin research Center, take a Biplane ride around Marathon. I could go on and on, the point is that if you get board during your stay then your not even trying. I would recommend for all you Conch lovers out there to stop by the Cracked Conch Cafe and try the Conch fingers (Mouth watering). For eats you can stop at any of the old Florida style restaurants, or on the water restaurants they are all excellent despite what the out side of the restaurant looks like. I could go on and on about mood and attitude and of the islands but you need to experience it for yourself. The Keyzee condo is a quaint little piece of paradise, which is kept in good clean conditions and is recommended for anyone looking to get away and do a little fishing.

Owner's Response: Marathon, the middle of the Keys, the best place to take in all the Keys have to offer, or do nothing at all. We reimbursed our tenant for the propane they had to buy, which is sold only a short walk outside the complex. Thanks for the nice review.
